So it's not possible for all appearances to disappear one day ?

@Inliytened1  You done for now, Breakingthewall is really good with science.

Not so but if you are interested in understanding the reality, humans science have reached an astonishing level. Realizing what theoretical physicists have achieved makes you see what the human mind is capable of. The level of obsession and focus required to mathematically describe the quantum structure of reality is incredible. And what's most incredible is that all subsequent experiments accurately verify the theoretical deductions. If you delve into modern physics you will see the beauty of the design of the universe, it's absolutely elegant, and you understand that this is so because it's the most efficient possibility, the most perfect equation that can arise and that it's so just because it's the most optimal possibility

If they disappear they will appear again, because it's possible, and the lapse between the disappearance and the appearance is zero, no time.

Is there any scientist out there, that you would recommend,  who has recently written a good readable book about the big picture you're describing here (Or perhaps a youtube channel you know of) ?

Is this what people mean by cessation ?

Before saying such things learn a bit about physics.

Start with Einstein, then try to understand Penrose for example

I actually know quite a bit about physics its one of my favorite topics. Its delicious only behind ice cream cake 🎂  so what shall we discuss today-  his initial theory of special relativity? Or perhaps time dilation.

I think Einstein came very close to awakening but Niels Bohr actually did.

You know it's illegal to make claims about the awakening of others :D

I'm curious, what makes you think so in the case of Niels Bohr ?

Haha - touche sir.  Quite true.  Well Bohr was rhe man with quantum physics..he figured out that when you go deep enough..under atoms and quarks..that stuff actually exists in a superposition of potentiality.  As @Breakingthewall always elegantly reminds us.  That is Infinity!  So I think he went so deep into that he became a mystic.  He is what we hope science will evolve to someday.  Einstein moved in that direction but was still too stuck in science.  Read about Bohr.  I read Einstein's biography too.  Its excellent.

Cool, thanks, will do

Who are your favorite modern day mystical scientists ?

(He's not so modern anymore, but I still quite like Rupert Shelldrake)

I'll be honest I've slacked with my studies on modern day mystical scientists.  Are there any? Sheldrake seems cool, thinking outside that scientific box.   Though he might be a bit too woo woo hehe

I think Michael Levin might also be somewhat mystically inclined.

I think the coolest part about physics is that the laws change depending on your velocity.  Time runs at a different rate, for example.  So, what this means is that there can be more than one reality.

@Breakingthewall

I felt to share with you something Mellowmarsh said earlier in the Solipsism thread. It might help to clear up the misunderstanding with regards to ego.

"I function as an ego of course I do, but the difference is I know it’s not my ego, I know no one owns or controls my ego, my ego is simply everything functioning as an ego. That’s all."

Everything in our universe, atoms or anything else, are relationship of local excitations in the fields of reality. They are no "things" according the typical definition of "thing" but they are. That they are probabilistic superimpositions that defines itself when a relationship with something else happens doesn't define it as imaginary or unreal, just that's how the reality works

A difficult question is physics imo is about energy. Where energy comes from? According Penrose the energy in universe is zero, the universe would be a breaking of symmetry of the void that arises to a possible equation that results zero, but that unfolds coherently

The conclusion would be that the universe is a possibility that is happening because it's possible, nothing else.

Yes. They exist as potential outcomes.  Before that they exist in a field of Inifnite possibilities.

Energy doesn't come from anywhere. Don't confuse yourself  Energy is imaginary.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, sorry. Could you be more specific?

What means imaginary? That I'm imagining it now?

Who knows that is the ego. The ego thinking that it's not real. Making a difference between real and unreal and deciding that it's category is "unreal". All inside of the conceptual mind.
