Even when fully healthy it can be dangerous. Psychedelics are like an atom bomb for your mind. It can destroy the bad structures and rubble which is good but it always destroys some good structures too. I know some people who have gone on their psychedelic arch and they lost their sharpness, creativity and fire and turned into Frankenstein's reiterating their small minds/worlds.

And that has been plenty disclosed too.

There is never enough disclaimers for fools. This work cannot be fool-proof.

I think there is a lot of speculation happening because we do not know what he was doing or not doing.

There are not a lot of good examples of ethical use of psychedelics. I know some psychedelic champions on youtube and their lives all turned sour to say it politely. Just saying I said so is not enough. They have to become the living example like good leaders/parents/gurus should be.

I just looked up the guy that was a major champion of psychedelics and look at his situation right now, posted 1 month ago. And this is his latest video:

So sad. And somehow he thinks his house burning down is god's work. That is magical thinking 101.  That is like one of the biggest trade marks of bad spirituality.

Apparently he couldn't find a new home, because the video is still up so he is basically homeless right now with a bunch of kids.

You are making shit up to support your argument.

Present some evidence that psychedelics always destroy good structures of the brain, please.

What kind of evidence do you want?

Anything will do, other than you making up stuff randomly to try to push disinformation narratives.

A study, some research, some sort of consensus that illustrates psychedelics always causing damage to good structures of of the brain.

I didn't say always though. Nor did I make a scientific claim of some sorts. :S

That's just not true.

Many people have used them responsibly. Terrence McKenna, Dennis McKenna, Martin Ball, Joe Rogan, and many others who you just don't know because this is a niche and taboo field.

He started as a drug addict. He did many drugs in reckless ways.

His problem is not psychedelics but addiction in general.

??????

You did say it - it's fine to take it back or simply reply it wasn't what you meant.

Ok but it is not a scientific claim. I don't go around doing science on everything I say. And neither do you. That would be weird.

I consider this you taking back the original statement.

@AION Sweet, then I consider the statement disinformation and not grounded in any sort of fact, evidence or reality (maybe just your own).

Cheers for clarifying.

Just because it was not a scientific claim doesn’t make it disinformation babe

Sorry to hear that. Alcohol can be wicked.

I wouldn't trade the wisdom gained from it or go back and change anything.  But yes because it loosens your inhibitions you are willing to take more chances.  But engaging in danger is the thrill of it all.  And I'm sure part of him was a thrill seeker.  By the way I do recall a certain experience you had in a bath tub where you came pretty close to death yourself.

And for an enlightened person this type of thrill seeking is even more enticing - to taunt death or to taunt the ending of fhe dream.  But once you get older you would much rather just lead a nice quiet life.

That was death as a function of mystical state, not a physical danger.

But yes, psychedelics can be physically dangerous.
