I make daytrips for tourists in Georgia 🇬🇪. i mix Historical and adventorous (horseriding, rafting) experience in one day. And my tours are private and everything is included private transportation, food, museum tickets everything. but its too expensive because of that and i attract only solo travelers. I feel like i'm in a wrong path. what's your thoughts? :)

I think high-budget solo travellers are a good niche. My idea would be to offer them more high tier media packages. Photos, videos, drone, custom vlog made for them, etc. That stuff is almost impossible to make on your own and if someone has the money it makes sense that they would pay a premium 200-500$ upsell for media.

From there gotta do some market research and see what the clients that you're attracting are looking for. Georgia is also known for wine from what I researched so wine tours, food tours, etc can be added to your services. Sulfur baths I see are also popular.

I think also going for the highest ticket possible is always good. You never know maybe the best way to make the business work is selling $15,000 packages to rich couples or whole families and they'll buy it and love it.

I messaged you on IG we can talk more there.

That sounds like a cool business.

Maybe expand beyond Georgia because the incomes are low there?

Tourism can be very profitable in the right places and clients. You can parlay your experience to more lucrative geographies.

Yeah I would target ads towards these countries below and maybe even in general the richest cities in the world and pitch travel packages. You can't really sell high ticket to locals I imagine they got cheaper ways to find cool stuff.

@jacknine119 Hey, fellow Georgian here, good luck with your venture.

My friend also has a similar business, he does bike tours for tourists around the country, mostly in mountains. But it's a seasonal job, nobody wants biking tours in the winter, so it's mostly doable when the weather is good. He makes like 10-12k$ a season, not much.

Do you plan to also have clients in winter time?

Do you work mainly on Russians? There's so many of them around these days.
