Are Mechanisms Fundamental to Consciousness?

Not really, intention is the rider of the will.

I don’t think you’re understanding what I mean. I’m not talking about some sci-fi mechanism or some Cartoon for kids .The very existence of reality is grounded in God’s will. Creation happens because God wills it ..just like that. If you want its like God snapping His fingers and whatever He wills instantly comes into existence. That’s what omnipotence means: unlimited power.

God doesn’t need a process or technology or a mechanism to create. The Quran expresses this perfectly: “When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

What Leo seems to be suggesting is  that after creating the universe ..God somehow became limited and lost access to His omnipotence  or became trapped within His own creation. To me that’s like saying God created the world then misplaced the source of His power and forgot how to access it. But if God is truly omnipotent that makes no sense. Omnipotence isn’t a tool that can be lost or taken away. It’s God’s very nature .
He said before that on certain psychedelic trip he realized what I’m describing now . The question is why did you return to limited consciousness instead of staying in omnipotence mode ? He usually gives a waffle answer to this that if you reach this state of consciousness you stop caring about your egoic desires and you see that all you want isn’t sex or money or drugs ..but just infinite union and consciousness and metaphysical love .

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

The ultimate mechanism is Will. Which is not a mechanism because it is Infinite. Or, you could also think of it as an Infinite Mechanism. It is a mechanism so profound that it has no beginning or end. GOD is an out of control Infinite Dream.

Will is such a juicy inquiry topic.

I've been contemplating it today.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

This is the best video I have ever seen on Schopenhauer.  His idea of will is really fascinating.

It’s just a mythical story. All recognition is the artificial recall of a dream where the dreamer, dream, and dreaming are one and the same nothing appearing to be something that never happened.

Art is natural, without agency, or author. Nature is artificial, same, without agency, or author.

Noumena and Phenomena are the same one mirage. Just Images of the imageless, the nothingness appearing as everything.
The happening not happening. The unwritten written. The empty looking. The not-knowing knowing.

Knowledge is a story that can only point to the illusory nature of reality.

An awakening is a mechanical awakening.

GOD is an out of control Infinite Dream. The reason that you can't do things directly at will in your current situation is because you are deeply lost in the Infinite Dream and your consciousness is too low to fully Awaken from it and have full access to your Will. There are limits upon you, but only because you are dreaming. The dream you are dreaming conflicts with what you wish you were dreaming, which is why you can't just will a bunch of money to rain from the sky. You could if you were fully conscious, but you are not. You can't be that conscious and retain your finite human psyche. Being human is what keeps from being fully God. If you became fully God you would stop existing as a human. So that's sticking point. The sticking point is that you don't want to die.

From now on, stop the overuse of capitalization of words, especially the all caps "GOD". It's pretentious, misleading and doesn't do justice to the seriousness of this work here.

Two infinite spaces are impossible, no?

One the one hand, it seems impossible.

But then again, since God/consciousness is dreaming all of us simultaneously, couldn't God make some dreams/egos permanent while making others impermanent, thereby retaining its ability to shapeshift?

I assume that the answer to this question becomes clear from higher states of consciousness, but who knows when (or if ever) I’ll be able to take a psychedelic and realize it for myself, given my bad genetics for psychedelics...

So for those who’ve had deep psychedelic breakthroughs into the nature of God, did it become clear to you whether all dream-characters eventually awaken back into God-consciousness, rather than remaining permanently lost in a dream? Can God design a dream from which it cannot wake up?

And I apologize if this has already been asked before. I tried looking through older threads for similar discussions, but I got a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of them.

There is eternal and there is imaginary. Eternal is flawless, perfect, beautiful. Imaginary is limited, fearful, short-lived. The two don't mix. The one does not know the other. God knows nothing of dreaming. Truth does not know illusion. Only truth is real and exists. The imaginary only seems to exist. I am imagining this universe. It's not good. But here I am. I seemed to flee God and suffer the cost. All the while God is watching me have a nightmare knowing well I will be as right as rain in the morning. Nothing can oppose God. Only God is. I am identical with God. Dreaming is part of my toolset. Just like for humans, everyone explores strange new worlds every time they sleep. Next day you are yourself again. You can't sleep forever since that would be death and death is impossible since only eternity is.

yes everything in this universe happens through mechanisms and cause and effect . I’m speaking about the creation of anything from scratch ..how does that work? In a simplistic sense how would god create anything from scratch ? Does he needs a mechanism ? Why should an all powerful being have to put in any effort to accomplish a project ? He just says be and it is . If this sounds too good to be true it’s a you problem. If you contemplate how reality gets itself off the ground that’s the only logical explanation. The only alternative would be that existence miraculously jumped out of no existence without anything and Also without mechanisms…seems  like the same thing still .

I see. Maybe that's why awakened people call this a "dream", implying that waking up to truth is inevitable.

Thank you for the replies.

Indeed. Awake has no beginning. You are always awake. Even when you sleep. In sleep you cover up the awake state with imagery of your own making. But awake-ness is still present. Everyone is awake and prefers to hide it with thoughts of fear, lack, envy. Those are self created and unnecessary. To proceed without such egoic armour is to be awake. For example the antidote to fear is: Nothing real can be threatened; nothing unreal exists.

Nice 👍

Also F E A R …..false energy appearing real.

Yes, wide awake awareness is forever always present even during sleep, if it wasn’t you’d never wake up to the sound of the alarm clock. ⏰ Something has keep watch while you sleep. 🛌

Always awake is something the human mind can never hold. What is north of the north pole.
