You don't need a girlfriend, you need a psychiatrist. That's what i should've told myself, every time i came here whining and bitching for years about being a virgin. It wasn't due to virginity or lack of sexual partners, it was due to my mental health which made me think that i need a girlfriend and sex. Now that my mental health is better i rarely think about losing my virginity, or getting a girlfriend, and i don't come here whining anymore. I am just genuinely happy and satisfied with life, and content with it, as it is, no need to change it. I focus on myself, doing the chores, going to work, school... and improving my life slowly but surely. Also realized that you cannot control everything in the future and life in general, so i just let go, and i'm enjoying my time in this life.

@Majed That's some solid progress. It is from this place that you can create healthy relationships. I too have been getting treatment from psychiatrist since, past 7 years. What I have realized that people like us overlook our progress be it in career,dating or anything else. All the best.

@Jirh I’m seeing these kinds of threads a lot recently. We can never know if the person is sincere about this or trying to soothe themselves out of desperation for a relationship. It’s more likely the latter because as you said it’s in our DNA Lilke literally the whole point of physical existence is to survive and reproduce there is nothing else.  And there is a distinction between just sex and a relationship.  Today all you need to have sex is literally just money .But money can’t buy you a relationship. Most men here are indeed lacking this aspect . He himself admitted in OP that he is a virgin and desperate for a girlfriend.  He is saying he was brain fogging about it but he realized now that he calmed down that it’s no rush he can just focus on daily achievable tasks .
