My question about all of this has to do with ratio.

Why is it that it seems to be a 50:50?

Wouldn't you think given the design of this, that there would be a more balanced ratio?

Something like 75:25 Women:Men

Do you think nature used to take care of this?

Men being typically more risk taking/adventurous could equate to natural selection which balanced the ratio.

Given now our current society, natural selection isnt quite the same...

Watched the whole video and still processing all the info. This guy have good things to say that helped me to connect some dots.

This is an interesting talk. He went deep into evolution, history, psychology, and biology.

I didn’t know that Neanderthals were peaceful and that only three animals experience menopause.

There were some minor things that I wasn’t sure about, but I liked how he sees an egalitarian society with a diversity of personalities and people as an evolutionary advantage, compared to a patriarchal structure in which only a few at the top enforce sameness upon the rest.

This point about diversity in personalities connects me to the different temperaments people naturally have, which can be mapped through the lens of extroversion vs. introversion, various MBTI types, Enneagram types, the Big Five, and more.

This is not a mistake but the wisdom of nature by design.

This is why even within the same family, siblings can have such different personalities, which represent different survival strategies.

If one fails, there are many others to ensure that the species survives.

Patriarchy became a Survival Strategy that end up having a lot of sucess. The question is: For Whom? 

Everytime we see a system is important to question: Who is being served by this? And also not Absolutize the issue that is all God so no matter what happens the whole will always be served. In the relative realm there is agency and choices and people, history being woven by daily choices, even the small choices.

What about the perspective of men using woman to extract femenine (Yin) energy to compensate their lack of it. We all heard of the concept of two Wholes meeting and when they meet is a different dynamic than when two people in lack meet. 

In case of men. We need to reflect where we are coming from when we go for woman. The extraction energy csn be very explicit or sometimes subtle, but if it is there you may be surprised why some woman just stop answering your DMs or getting you out of their lifes.
