Sam Hyde is very hard to pin down. I find him extremely funny but I disagree with all his political takes. I'd say he's a comedian/internet troll.  He's been around for years and had a sketch show with other internet figures on Adult Swim called Million Dollar Extreme in early 2010s that got cancelled for being too right wing. His comedic method are absurdism and satire.

Absurdist internet comedian with some loose ties to the far right but mostly known for memes and trolling.

Got internet fame because his fans managed to get news outlets to report photos of him as a suspect mass shooter soon after one occurs. Also managed to get a Ted talk where he just rambled about insane stuff.

Yeah, I never heard of Sam before either. On a quick look, doesn't seem to be someone to look up to. But in typical Owen's fashion, he surrounds himself with corrupted and unconscious people, as long as they are rich and famous.

I think hes very stupid and not funny. Hes a pseudo intellectual. Never heard him say anything intelligent and comes off as angry.
