Nothing is not contained within the body-mind complex. You cannot draw a boundary around it and say, “This nothing belongs to me”  “and the other person’s nothing starts where mine ends.”

Nothing is undivided and universal. It does not belong to any one individual. It is the same nothing that appears to illuminate all minds and bodies, yet remains itself untouched and unowned.

If that's what is known through direct experience than kudos to you my friend.

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.

I read at least three of Krishnamurti's books when I was 17 and I liked that kind of readings. I found them fascinating, but something was always missing. I didn't know what, but there was a feeling that something didn't quite fit.

Years later, I reread one of them, and it became so clear that I was amazed I hadn't seen it at the time. The target of his talk, the bullseye, the point he's aiming for, is himself. His speech is designed to make him appear as a genius.

And if we're being serious, he's also demonstrably wrong. He leads the reader into mental traps that hinder true liberation. If you want to analyze this particular video, lets go. Maybe you will agree with me.

It's fair that he comes across that way to you. He was rather unpretentious, though. That's how I see it.

In any case, the suggestion to "empty yourself" is the core of the video and what should be practiced, at least in this context. That's what I was paying the most attention to.
