Tired of living in lebanon

8 posts in this topic

Dude, thanks to the economic crisis, 80% of the population is in poverty. Plus there's the war going on between hezbollah and israel, dude just yersterday israel dropped 100 missiles in 10 minutes in all of lebanon. It's becoming too depressing, the poverty, the war... I was thinking about killing myself, because the situation is so brutal.

You said you are tired of living in Lebanon. Is your goal to actually get out? Focus on THAT more than the trajedy, and work toward escaping. Yes, easier said than done, I know.

My mom's great-grandparents escaped the Armenian genocide in that region 110 years ago. I don't know their story, but imagine they were feeling a lot of grief and depression too. But they made it.

It's not too late to do something to improve your situation. You are here on this personal development forum, so without a doubt you have something to live for. You just have to tune your focus to the right places, opening you up to different possibilities you might be missing at the moment.

All the best brother.

That sounds fucked up man. But keep faith that better days are possible bro.

Perhaps try to read stories of people who have escaped from difficult life circumstances to help you have hope.

All best man.

Do you live in an urban or rural area?

How is the north of Lebanon?

Sorry to hear you are going through this. Hope the things calm down for you soon

@Nivsch I live in Beirut.

By the way, i imagine you speak hebrew, since you're from israel. I was interested in learning hebrew as well, since i love learning languages. I already have an advantage since hebrew is in the same family language as arabic.

Hang in there my brother. I read most of everything you posted and you are a blessing and breath of fresh air on here. Don't do anything silly to yourself. The world is f'ed-up everywhere but world is just a means to learn lessons. It has no importance in itself. You have found the teachings of truth so don't squander that opportunity. I feel horrified about what your country is suffering. Israel and the US are piling up so much bad karma and the piper always gets paid in time. Future isn't bright on this small planet. In any case, we can still fulfil our function and achieve our purpose.

If you have any money, the best time to leave is probably now, if you can make it to Turkiye. This could last for 20 years, of which you'll probably just get poorer and poorer.

The entire attack on Iran was possibly just a false flag event to invade Lebanon.

It's so weird that Lebanon isn't fighting back even with their capital being bombed. It's safe to say now that the Lebanese government is an illegitimate Israeli proxy.
