First time trying 5 meo

Hello. I wanted to start my own personalised thread to ask questions about 5 meo. Anyone can join.

I ordered a small amount of 0.5grams from Germany and I want to start really really small.

According to chat gpt 0.5grams can provide around 100-200 beginner amounts doses of 5 meo at around 3mg per dose.

how on earth do you measure out that tiny amount accurately? 

Im not new to spiritual experiences but I am with psychedelics.

3mg is too small.

10mg is where you start. Even that is fairly small. 20mg is a proper dose.

You need a miligram scale or a micro scoop like this: https://amzn.to/3MYzLeZ

You could snort it, but that is much less pleasant than plugging. Plugging is the best method.

Don't snort (or plug) freebase. Convert it to a salt by dropping a little vinegar onto it. Freebase is for vaping (my preferred method).

Its that simple to make it salt with vinegar? I really did not want to smoke it my first try I wanted to put it up my butt

yep, I think Leo's blog video he linked shows you that part. 

I feel you, I was too scared to vape it the first half dozen or so times. Vaping hits like a freight train.

Snorting freebase will hurt a lot. It's also not good for your nose.

Plugging freebase is much easier.

The one I tried was in a vape pen. It was nice because you can just vape it and reup as needed the amount instead of just ingesting and hoping the trip goes well.

We did it at a cabin with a few friends and the dude that brought it was like a trip sitter/shaman talking through the experience was pretty cool.

wow that looks interesting. Ive still go so much to learn before first trip. for example I purchased the wrong form, I should have bought HCL not freebase. And I need to hire a sitter. Why arent you tripping regularly?

I know you asked someone else, but I don't trip regularly because my parents are always home and it's impossible to fake being sober on 5 meo haha

Just add a few drops of vinegar and it becomes the right form.

Freebase is a good form. It is most versatile.
