Epistemic Responsibility = Frame

6 posts in this topic

Leo says very few people will ever outgrow Actualized.org.

But if you actually want to reach your highest potential aka God-realization then epistemic responsibility is the key.

It means:

• Seeking direct experience
• Taking action to test ideas in reality
• Thinking deeply and forming your own conclusions

A teacher can point.
But you still have to see.

id even dare to say responsibility and epistemic responsibility can lead you to making 100,000,000

Hmm I could a case where God Realization is achieved, but without a proper epistemic foundation.

Of course there probably is some overlap, but mystical experiences and Awakening to God can certainly happen while at the same time bypassing cognitive development.

What good is it to know if you don't know you know. You might be delulu*. Epistemics is knowing you know not feeling you know.

* "Delulu" is internet slang for "delusional," referring to someone holding unrealistic beliefs, fantasies, or romantic fantasies that are not based on reality. Originating in K-pop fandoms to describe obsessed fans, it is now used playfully by Gen Z/Alpha to describe having high, albeit unrealistic, self-confidence.

Epistemic responsibility sounds like trying to torture meaning into existence when it doesn't need it.

Especially when you start hearing about sacrificing X for truth.

I guess it sounds good but you need more balls than brains.

I would not equate it to frame.

Lots of epistemic scumbags have strong frame.

Frame is not the same thing as caring about truth.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Means that If we're talking about serious epistemology, in order to say "I am God," you should at least be able to create a couple of galaxies, or better yet, a universe with a different geometry, shrink it to the size of a marble, and put it on the table as proof.
