How doesn’t religion forbid sex ?

4 posts in this topic

I have been thinking about this question for a couple of days and it still doesn’t make any sense to me.
In the most popular religions like christianity and Islam, you are encouraged to have sex as long as you’re married to the person that you’re having sex with.

it’s even stated in islam that you can have sex with 4 different women as long as you are married to them and providing to them equally the same share of money/assets.

it doesn’t make any sense to me that Prophet mohamed who was a religious person did have a wife and children.

now how does religion not forbid sex ? How does it encourage sex instead through marriage ? I believe a person who is very close to god would abstain from Pleasing themselves. At the end of the day what’s sex more than pleasing your own self.

i believe that a real religion would forbid sex and calls on abstaining from it permanently, that makes a lot more sense if you’re trying to be “religious”

does anybody have any explanation how and why is that ?

Because every religion that did had adherents who didn’t have sex and thus didn’t have kids and they died out.

Its literally just made up bs so that a couple people won't take all the woman and so that men can have control over their wife, ie we make a rule that you cant have sex with my wife under God.

People won't join their religion if you have to abstain from sex permanently.

The preists and nuns do it but not the normies.

For your information The people who protect the Kaba in Saudi Arabia and devote their whole lives to taking care of the hygiene of the Kaba and Muhammed's grave must be castrated to do this role . They were like that since the first centuries of Islam. They must be castrated so that lust doesn't distract them from devoting their entire lives to serve God.  Also in the history of Christianity many saints used to castrate themselves or pick out their own eyeballs and induce blindness to themselves on purpose so that they forget about sex and women completely and devote their whole life to divinity . Also Hinduism calls the way to realize God "Brahamacharia"...this word literally translates as" the way to Brahama" or the way to God but it also means celibacy.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."
