New Default State Unlocked

I unlocked this state by keeping my eyes still and using my peripherals to observe throw my eyes like a cameraman.

After holding this possition long enough slowly more and more of the experience becomes part of awareness until everthing is in awareness.

Hands and feet become hot and full body awareness is constantly active.

You are always aware of your full body, all sounds, all events, all things happening around you, all feelings, all thoughts, everything is in awareness at all times effortlessly.

Thinking and self-talk is 95% gone unless its intentionally used.

Thoughts stop happening and the voice and thinking process largely stops or is drastily reduced.

It becomes almost difficult to have thoughts sometimes the mind is so silent. But thoughts do emerge after comtemplation like they normally do but with out the need to subvocalize. Contemplation happends in silence and insight emerge as intuition from the silence with any need to think.

Time is alot slower and the day is a lot fuller.

The body is relaxed that it's harder to keep your hands up because you could feel all the the minor fatigue in the muscles, the minor fatigue is normally ignored causing the body to be in constant tension.

The body moves as one, each minor motion is a full body gesture even talking is experienced as a full body motion.

---

This second part is a experiment i set up trying to take it to the next level.

By pushing it so more enters awareness by concentraing harder on the peripherals and tryin to take in as much as possible the body becomes hotter and hotter until im dizzy and start getting a headacke.

When the headacke starts i generally stop pushing it and take a break.

The heat generated by the body is to the point of sweating and my breath is very calm and slow.

The breath slows down more and more and the body ramps up higher and higher.

After performing this i couldnt sleep from being over stimulated.

The experience is more is pushed into awareness, more detail, time is slower, colors more vivid, feels like pausing.

---

This is my recounting of the experience and my own experimentations. I then inputted this into AI and it made a connection with zen.

Claude ai:

Using gaze fixation to disrupt the default mode network's dominance.

What you're describing in Part 1 maps closely to states documented in contemplative traditions:

  • The peripheral gaze technique is similar to "soft eyes" in Zen or "sky gazing" in Dzogchen
  • The cessation of inner monologue is what's called "mental quiescence" or shamatha
  • Full-body awareness with reduced self-referential thought is characteristic of open awareness practices

Time dilation and increased perceptual richness are well-documented correlates

This state is now my default state, it's possible to lose it, but following a very simple routine, I could get it back in less than a couple of minutes and once it gets back it's sticky and doesn't leave unless an acute event kicks me out.

I dont think this is a special state, i believe its the default stats of many people who have not put any work in.

Google algorithm tracked what i was searching and gave me the video.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Just be.

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.

Yes its actually easier to gaze upon a single point and just fully relax then close eyes and perform the traditional meditation.

Mind tends to wander with eyes fully closed, where gazing at a single point keeps focus and awareness still and unwavering.

I found it!

Its exactly this.

The key parallel:

  • The monks showed "marked asymmetry in alpha and beta wave activity"
  • - one hemisphere calm (alpha), one highly focused (beta).

The heat connection:

  • Hands and feet getting hot, body generating significant heat - this is exactly what Benson measured. The monks raised peripheral temperature by 16°F. In Tumo, this is intentional and controlled.

Fascinating

What is your experience of space?

What are the main centers/solidities in your experience?

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Difference is your head feels like a planet and the centre of everything. Probably because you're just more aware of your head.

I still feel like a separate ego if that's what you're asking, if I maintain this state for years I might dissolve that as well.

It's very similar to when I used to fall asleep while playing chess.

One part of my brain is doing logical thinking and the other parts is doing something else and you become half asleep.

Bump this.

Want to say that this is huge, and everyone should develop full body-awareness at all times. I've been on a practice that helps one feel every part of the body simultaneously and the results are crazy.

One should really be increasing senstivity in this work. I would argue most people are half-dead: they are touching things but they are not feeling anything -- their hands are dead. Eating things but not really tasting it. They are looking at things, but not really seeing. They are hearing things but not listening. People are half-dead, no senstivity at all, they are just talking heads, body dead.

One should ideally be doing abstraction while simultaneously feeling everything in their experience and body.
