Don't listen to them do what you want. You listen to these people worried about wasting time and money and you end up an accountant in a closet with a gun in your mouth.

You're saying it's too risky to not take the big risk. lol.

What if you shoot for the stars and fail spectacularly (as most do), have identity collapse, then become a failed artist, depressed in a closet with a gun in your mouth?

Surely, there's a middle way.

Depends on the job, location and the company, there are relatively EZ jobs out there which, if you're lucky enough to obtain, can grant you the privilege of just scratching your balls while doing little actual work, which is something you'd be doing anyway if you were a NEET or a failed artist NEET. Well, we are all heading that direction anyway due to A.I.

Guys i have a plan to make a living from rap : -Combining getting hired for gigs and projects as a rapper through freelance work. I will build a portfolio, or a resume, to get hired. -Building a small community on social media, of fans, who are willing to donate on patreon for support and listening to my music relases in advance, or to share exclusive music there.

You can do it. You'll need to get good at outreach/ networking, mastery at your craft & mastery at being able to market your craft.

The deciding factor for success is enjoying the process & challenges that come with putting something out into the world more than anything else you could be doing.

Some people really enjoy being an accountant, and they can make great money.

If youre passionate about something youre gonna do it no matter what anyone says, if its a pipe dream that you barnacled from someone else because it looked cool or profitable youre gonna drop it soon enough, so its all good eitherway.

@Majed Why on upwork? Do you post on Youtube/Instagram/Tiktok? You can start getting booked for gigs in a couple months if you put a lot of work into it.

@Majed Dope, just followed you back.

I challenge you to make a rap on an actualization topic so we can enjoy it on the forum!
