It means once you realize God then you are free to be any way you want. You don't need to try to act spiritual any more.

Fake spiritual people try to act moral and righteous to overcompensate for not knowing God.

Be ware of people who make a display of acting moral. Real spiritual people are down-to-earth and normal. Not some Pope in a hat with a moral stick up his ass.

I don't think it means what Leo said because whoever made this meme probably has no deep understanding of such things . I can attest that Cigarettes and Coffee in the morning increases alertness and "consciousness " in the conventional sense .and the guy who made the meme means all these new age things that people do like Psychedelics and kundalini do not even come close to smoking and drinking coffee (just a meme obviously so it's not true ).

Nisargadatta was a smoker .Alan Watts smoked and drank Alcohol. I don't think they did that because of the logic "well it doesn't matter from the absolute perspective ". They did that because they were addicted vulnerable humans like the rest of us . You can be awake but still an addict . Props to you that you stopped using psychedelics for a while now (if I'm not mistaken).

For me this meme was more about the fact that when real spirituality starts amd your whole identity gets deconstructed there can be a period of existential terror, depression, dark night of the soul -> and in those moments sometimes you gotta smoke a cig man.

But tobacco also has a long history of being used for shamanic/spiritual purposes right?

@cistanche_enjoyer Tobacco itself is a really nice plant. 

Cigarettes are not just tobacco, they have a lot of additives and they are GMO very different from traditional tobacco. Also, I don't think it was used chronically or recreationally as it is now. 

Ultimately, it's also a cultural aspect of relativistic shamanism and God doesn't hold it in any higher regard than anything else.

@Someone here I hear you haven't been smoking, how do you feel about that?

@Leo Gura Huh, 🤔 loosely maybe. The realizing that created yourself… etc I think it pulls in themes related to awakening. 

Perhaps that’s how animated characters awaken. 
 

I still, I don’t really understand what Awakening is. I’ve tripped etc. but, I’m fine admitting I’m sure what I’ve experienced. My mind has been too egoic and impure.
