This show was mindblowing! Anyone else thought the hive-mind pretty much had the vibes of ChatGPT?

I think the idea came to fruition because of the rise of LLM AI.
But the base concept is not new.

It's just the Borg from Star Trek, only more friendly on the outside.

I don't buy this whole SD Turquoise thing.
Turquoise would never force people to convert, they would let them convert on their own account.

They want to convert the rest of the Galaxy too. Their goal is not about being it's about invading.

Branding this as Turquoise seems like a Green perspective, same kind of idea that early Green would have if you would put LSD in water supply so everyone will Wake up. It does not work that way. Or the whole Neo Advaita idea, you can't snap people into waking up, 99% of the world is to attached to their ego. They can't survive without it.

BTW the CIA tried that already in the 50's it's called MK Ultra. People lost their mind.

Great season finale.

Meeting between Carol and Manousos went great 😂

Can't wait to see what they do with the atom bomb.

I liked the finale. Honestly if they ended the show here it would be a great ending as it is.

Apparently there will be a second season.

I think I've read that Vince Gilligan has plans for up to a fourth season, if I recall correctly. But take this with a grain of salt.

Just came here to see if there was a post about it already.B|
What can i say now that S1 has ended: the concept is new, the story telling is perfect and even though it's completelely different from BB and BCS you can still recognize Gilligan's mind behind it. The show really gave me Actualized.org vibes in many points. One of the few recent shows that haven't made me feel like I was wasting my time (the other two as of now are Severance and From).

@Leo Gura please watch it!

Two awesome shows you've named right there

@LoneWonderer yep. it still kills me that sometimes we have to wait 3 years to get a new season but in the case Severance i'm all for waiting if that's the only way to keep the quality is this good. From somehow maneged to be yearly bu it's one of those for which i would't mind waiting aswell.

My name is Manousos Oviedo. I'm not one of them. I wish to save the world.

Looking back on this show, feels overhyped. I'm not that impressed, but already made a post about that.

But besides that. Is it me or are Indian/Hindu women in Hollywood betrayed as bossy and bitchy?

I'm talking about Laxmi in this show, but I've seen it multiple times now.

Raj sister in Big Bang Theory, and that girl from Office Space, and some others I have seen but can't name from the top of my head.

Granted I almost don't watch tv shows anymore.

For the Indian readers here. Are Indian/Hindu portrayed the same in Bollywood, the one or two Bollywood movies I have seen I don't recognise this stereotype.

It's nice when the creator of a show knows what the plot is going to be and plans out the whole show in advance, as opposed to not knowing the answers to the mysteries at the start and coming up with them on the fly based on popularity and consumer interest. Take Lost for example - s1 - fantastic, seems like it's building up to so much, then s2 hits and you realize "wait they're just improvising the plot".

Lost is one of the greatest shows ever, with a finale that stands among the best. Sure, the creators admitted they were making it up as they went, but for a story that was improvised, it’s amazing how beautifully it all came together in the end.

Your profile quote goes amazingly with this comment haha. It was predetermined that some things will not be determined! Haha. I got bored at season 3, maybe I should go back.
