Yea I recently went down the Curtis Yarvin rabbit hole too. His idea for a technocratic anarchy is FUCKING INSANE. And he seems to be a big influence on many powerful people in the US right now.

I went down the Yarvin rabbit hole. I think some people are so disconnected within they gravitate towards all sorts of warped and dark ideas to rationalize their miserable existence. Literally nothing about this ideology makes sense. It’s completely incoherent and everything about it contradicts itself.

But I was pointing out that this is only popular with kids on the internet who have no appreciation for the boring technical aspects of government and are just trying to find an edgy club to join.

This is the political equivalent of gothic kids in high school who are super into Friedrich Nietzsche and nihilism but are not actually serious about philosophy.

Sorry, that was a typo on my part. I meant monarchy.

And yea it reminds me of some of the ideas discussed in random political debates I had with mates in high school
