Basically, eternity lead to this moment right now, so where does awakening fit in

14 posts in this topic

What really bogs my mind is how the whole endeavour of spirituality is to come to Truth, Awakening, God, Moksha,...

But how certain of an attainment is this, if in all eternity, life is where it is right now. Confused, suffering, frustrated? Ok some joy, some clarity too, but still so confused, suffering, frustrated.

In all eternity life is like it is right now.

So how about a state of omiscience, of freedom, of clarity, when all of eternity lead to ignorance, bondage and confusion? It feels like it needs limitations to even be something.

Awakening fits in by allowing You to absolutely realize that only this moment exists in reality, and that is all there ever is, reality is one big Moment, and via that realization, the depression from the past disappears as does the stress and anxiety of the future, as neither of these things really exist.. They only Exist in the Mind scape, Mind is past/memory and future/imagination orientated, this great feature allowed our Species to Survive and Dominate as it has, otherwise we would not have made it this long!

But we are not the Mind, so when all of this comes into Realization on the Experiential level, then all You can do is Laugh and Play this Game of Life!! Its a much more enjoyable ride than being Mind Identified and trapped in that loop of my past sucked and I'm scared of what is too come!!

What are you asking?

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread

Definitely, time is an illusion.

I'm referring to spirituality, to reaching more holistic states of consciousness and, specifically how futile it seems.
In this context, playing along the game does no good.

If I play along, I would eat fastfood daily, bingwatching TV, Youtube, Netflix and TikTok, reading mainstream media, instead of doing yoga, watching out on my health, reading philosophy and contemplate,....

I went back into the formless, and God slapped me (itself) and said “what are you doing here, go back and play hide and seek - being and BE-coming, coming to be what already is - because Being longed to Be-long”

Maybe God is both lost and found within itself - eternally. As long as there is form, there will be limitation and the liberation from limitation.

But if the formless has no limitation to transcend - then surely forms role isn’t to transcend itself (it can’t) but only transform itself in seeking the transcendent.

Like that saying - before enlightenment chop wood carry water, after enlightenment chop wood carry water. Awakening isn’t about abandoning form but living in it from above.

Sardines, birds, or cats aren't frustrated and all that, so I guess in all eternity there will be many other non-frustrating possibilities.

If you are a human being with a certain energetic configuratin, you must make the movement of opening yourself to the absolute, because otherwise your life is madness and misery.

Enlightenment is not about knowing things; it's about being open to your ultimate nature. This openness implies understanding that death is just change, because being open to your total nature implies understanding that what you truly are is that total nature, and the human energetic configuration is a transient structure.

For sure effort and intent is needed.  What I meant by playing the game is that life is a sort of game, when You establish Your BEINGNESS, which is based allot on our present Moment Awareness and Intensity, then Beingness is established, then life becomes a game, and with that the need to bingwatch, fastfood, what is happening in the society and the drama games is lessened to a large degree...

I saw it again last night its like the present moment is total destruction of self and we are riding the waves its creating. So to be scared that you will die stupid because you are already dead in the present moment.

Cats definitely are frustrated sometimes.

Yes and any living being but in another sense than humans.

Death is already here in a way.
The acquired mind is futile and will wane again.

And that's the whole point - it seems like awakening is happening over and over again, because sleep and ignorance will set in again and again.
It's like night and day.

@Ima Freeman what i think we want to do is find it and hug it, basically ride eternal destruction as close as we can always focusing on it as our future. Never caring about what happens next as what happens next is always a void of nothing.
