Slay the Spire II is releasing in just a few days, but after twenty hours of playing the first game, I still haven’t beaten it. I came so close—the final boss was down to just one HP. Is it really meant to be this hard, or am I just not very good at it?

It's not so hard. You just need to min-max more. Pick better rewards. You need to select rewards that give you tons of armor and healing. You cannot beat the bosses if you invest too much in offense rather than defense.

Defense is huge in this game.

Selecting the right artifacts is also hugely important.

And upgrading the right cards is huge.

That is all part of the goodness.

Picture City has some of the best music.

Yeah the music of Rayman was really good

Has anyone else been playing Resident Evil Requiem? It's fantastic! The graphics are stunning, and the audio design is incredible. It truly captures the essence of classic Resident Evil while feeling thoroughly modern and cinematic. I love how they've alternated between horror with Grace and action with Leon; it's a really cool approach.

I might give it a go at some point, looks very promising.

Slay the Spire didn't really do it for me. I guess turn-based or card games just aren't my thing.

Resident Evil is so boring. Like after the 100's zombie I have seen it all.

Do you not get scared despite the apparent predictability? I mean, you know it's a horror game, that's its job.

Is anyone else interested in Pragmata?

Capcom seems to be working on something special.

I’d choose better rewards if the game offered them. It’s way too luck-based, and I’m over it. I don’t enjoy it anymore, won’t be buying the sequel, and will be playing the RE remakes instead.

I never finished Village, got bored after an hour, but I might give it another shot now because I’m craving more RE.

I decided to give Village another shot, and it really picks up once you reach the castle. I quit too soon the first time, as the opening just doesn’t sit right with me. But if you can push through that first hour, Village turns out to be a solid entry in the series. It’s great to see the Resident Evil franchise thriving. God bless Japan!

I am interested in Medieval III Total War perhaps. Those videos of siege battles and of the campaign map look different and promising. I want me some good ole fashioned crusades to distract myself from the current one lmao preferably as Byzantines

I’ve heard the gameplay is pretty unique, and there’s a demo out now. I haven’t seen any trailers because I like to go in completely blind.

Ooh, I've been burned by doing that before. My standards are too high to pay full price for something I'm not sure about.

You can always get a refund, like I did with Silent Hill f, even though I was sure I’d enjoy it. But maybe I judged too fast, too harshly again, just like I did with RE Village.

If your on Steam you only get 2 hours to change your mind, which isn't nearly enough for big AAA games in my opinion.
