Ice hockey is a much better team sport than soccer, football, basketball, etc.

I see thare are lots of soccer/football fans here. In my opinion, ice hockey is the only team sport that has been on an upward trajectory in the last couple of years.

Soccer is getting boring since a lot of top players are getting old and they are leaving the best European leagues for better money elsewhere. Younger players are not as dominant as the older generation. Also, there has been a lot of corruption/political scandals, etc.

Basketball is now terrible in my opinion. It's just so unfun to watch. There are no dominant players in the NBA and every single match becomes a 3-point shootout.

Baseball and American football are the most boring team sports, and I don't understand how a grown up can enjoy watching them.

In my opinion, ice hockey sh*ts all over these team sports, and it's getting better every single year. It's not on the same level as the late 1990s and early 2000s hockey, but better than a decade ago. On top of that, NHL players will now be allowed to compete on the Olympics, which will bring even more attention to the sport. Good times for ice hockey ahead...

Actually no .it's only me probably. Most people on that thread including Leo are not sure who Ronaldo is in the first place 😂.

My problems with hockey, and pretty much all the other big team sports other than football, are the too predictable results (especially over a season) and way too many games. The more games, the more predictable the season becomes too, so they're related. Because of this, American football is the only sport besides football that I've been hooked on in the past.

Hockey is a high skill / low luck sport. Similar to tennis. It's not about scoring one lucky goal or homerun, and winning the competition. It's all about hard work and teamwork.

Hockey is incredibly dynamic sport, no point in denying that. Football is definitely a snoozefest compared to hockey, the stadium is always so big and it takes so long to get the ball from one side of the stadium to the other, never mind land a goal. However, hockey is sometimes so dynamic that neither side is able to land many goals, leading to a similiar paradoxical stalemate.

Needless to say, all sports are boring to me. Just a bunch of chimp competitions lol

In other words: The rich and powerful always crush the poor and weak. Not my thing! (Yeah, I know it’s more fair in the NHL than here in Europe, but still)
