Bro I am really sorry to hear that. Follow Leo's advice and move out of Russia if you want to have a great life purpose. With the wars and all the shenanigans going down in Russia, if you are a fighting age male there is a chance that they will take you to the front lines.

Man I am so afraid of Russia, the Russian wanna be viceroys in my country want to turn my country into a Russian style dictatorship, and the fact that I will lose YouTube and actualized.org is my biggest nightmare.

Tbh my life didn`t really change after 2022 war. I visit mostly youtube. And now just with VPN. So if you think I lost something - I didn`t. But it`s me. Some people really need paypal, but it doesn`t work here. Like, I can`t buy Leo`s booklist, but it`s ok.

Russia is a scary place to live if you some social justice warrior or celebrity. But I`m Mr.NoOne, so government doesn`t care much about pawns.

Maybe that`s I`m blind, but I want to escape this country, but at the same time don`t have much reasons for it besides that I can get drafted to war. Maybe you help me?)

Bro you do as you see fit. In the end you should listen to yourself and make decisions only based on what you think. If you think that you are safe there for now, that is great. If you can access the information you need with the help of the vpn that is also very good. If you don't have reasons to leave maybe you should stay there and help the Russian society improve in ways that don't involve politics. Maybe you could build a great business there that could help employ many locals that currently don't have a job.

Hailing from Russia myself, I long ago abandoned the idea of trying to fix it. Why waste time and, potentially, your life trying to sow seeds of consciousness in hell's soil?

I hate the Russian mentality, too. Not to say there aren't plenty of civilized, intelligent Russians, as there are in any culture. BUT DAMN—try reading social media comments in Russian or playing an online game with Russians on your team. You'll be left speechless by the level of toxicity those people exude.

Even before I left Russia a few years ago, I had stopped thinking of myself as a Russian. I intentionally isolated myself from the culture to the point where I now see other Russians as foreigners.

I treat Russia as the gutter I crawled out of. Yet, I don't complain about my past; rather, I treat it as a training ground. After all, it's hard to be soft. :)

Just forget Russia exists, leave, and do what truly fulfills you. That ain't worth it

Russians are respected and loved in the global south countries, which represent over 85 % of humanity, for Russian support in their independence movements against exploitative colonialism during the communist era.

Hence Russians are always welcome in our countries.

Russia has a rich history of great rulers like Peter the Great, a great general like Suvorov who was undefeated in all his campaigns (whom the Duke of Wellington deeply admired and corresponded with), the world's best novelists in Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoyevsky and a good literary and artistic culture, aside from strong foundation in  science and technology.

So there are a lot of positives in Russia as a foundation to build upon , and hopefuly a Russia with robust democratic institutions will come up in the future.

I think people need to relax and do whatever they want instead of trying to fix some entity. Position yourself where you have full autonomy already. And build from there.

The idea of life purpose is absurd to me, because life have no purpose. You have alignment to certain values likely due to biases, and experiences. You find all the novel ways people have chosen to exist and they spark something.

Being from a peaceful communist influenced fringe, I personally never had any interest in money, ever since I was little. As far as I can see, the richest and the poorest have very little difference in terms of well being. The focus then becomes what do I actually wanna do, for fun.

I’m currently in Russia. I’ll share my thoughts in a bit. I’m not from, I’m from the USA. My wife is from here and we are staying for some time until her documents are ready for us to move to another country. I think you really need to keep yourself open to new opportunities, socializing, education and earning money. You have to basically max these out in all areas and be deeply involved in life to get out of Russia. I think you could also make your peace with this place as well in case tou have to spend time here. If you genuinely want to leave, it won’t necessarily be easy. All the Russians I’ve met who get out are often times hella loaded or so rich the blue mentality doesn’t affect them. Many others succeed at emigrating out but it ain’t easy. Good luck to you. I think education is one of the best paths out if you aren’t super loaded now.

He was, but he was too naive I think to understand what his fate would be.

Some people are courageous and some are just naive and don't understand the risks they take.

What Navalny did was foolish. There was no sense for him to return to Russia after they poisoned him. He should have been more afraid. Fools are sometimes fearless.

This is a good example of why fear must exist. Without fear you do reckless things.

Even though Navalny completely failed, maybe enough people in Russia will one day be inspired to believe in his cause.

Kamikaze is a perfect way to describe his actions actually, similiar to fanatical Japanese pilots trying to delay Americans as much as possible, Navalny literaly sacrificed himself. He probably also viewed it as a sacrifice himself

Yet the retards in the Kremlin think that he was a western puppet. The man could live like a king in the west yet he decided to give his life away just to prove that you always stand up and fight against dictators and you never kneel in front of them. Navalny was a real hero, the floor he walked on was full of cracks because of how heavy his balls were. As opposed to the little girl in the Kremlin who has others do the dirty work for her while she hides.
Navalny was such a brave man, the moment he decided to return he knew he was a dead man walking yet he returned. His death showed the whole world how much that man wanted to live in a Russia that was a liberal democracy, where rule of law and care for its citizens is normalized. Navaly is one of my role models and if ever my country will become a dictatorship again, I will follow in his footsteps. Dictators are a plague that must be annihilated.
