When death comes, which belief will you cling to?

That's where you error. You do not need to explain how anything. Everything is functioning perfectly on it's own.

The heart never asks how it's beating.

Exactly, so why do you ask if there is no you who's doing the body.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

Your theory is flawed.

The hand cannot type words on a computer screen without some conscious participation. You are this conscious participation.

No. Ever see a computer/machine that types itself. Lots of things are operating without any conscious being behind it. Matter of fact there are no conscious beings, but that's not up for debate because it will get nowhere. I'll just leave that at that.

You can’t know consciousness because you are it.

Same reason why you’re asking me why I’m asking.

Same way a tree operates. All by itself. A body doesn't know it's a body. It doesn't even know it's alive. It's just operating all on itls own just like everything else. Nothing needs to know anything to operate as it does. Does electricity knows it's electricity to operate an electric fan or does a car needs to know it's a car to run. The body is the same way.

This is known as it’s conceptually written and simultaneously read.

Absolutely false! Do not sell yourself short.

You can understand AND it’ll still be like “wtf is this omg?!”

You can know consciousness as a concept. Concepts know nothing. That’s one understanding.

Another understanding. To know Consciousness, one would have to split into two things, into knower and known.

Choose your own understanding, I’m simply providing mine.

Not really, just consciousness with an object.

To answer OP:

I don't know - unknown experience. So no belief - just not knowing. Total uncertainty.

I wasn't raised with any belief system, thank God. So nothing to default back to (which seems to be a really common occurrence, and mechanism of the subconscious mind).

I was only raised with 'You create' by my rather weird artist grandfather.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

Will you say, I am God,

or I am infinite,

or I am everything?

And when death sweeps you away,

will you still be able to hold on?

I have been through a possible life ending situation an year ago.

Nothing could comfort me in terms of beliefs, what helped was basically some understanding that i'm not here to start with, and it's an ongoing story that keep telling/creating myself.

Reality of death is difficult and you have to surrender and go through it.

Lucky you, the default place of no beliefs is the right place to be in. This allows for surrender to happen on its own, when one is faced with reality of possible ending of life.

Amazing.

I would like to add something, I is the biggest belief. And everytime you have deep sleep, that's literally death. Only difference is surrendering the body.

Yes - deep sleep. No object.

Death - no object.

But aware.

Precisely - and that surrender is so freeing.  I fiercely engage with life because I know I can always make it happen and it will be okay - until it isn't and I die :) No need to worry, it will come as it comes.

I do feel lucky to have not had any indoctrination at an early age. You see all over the world - even these forums - individuals who have their reality challenged, by psychedelics, near death experiences - and they default back to beliefs instilled in their developmental stages. It speaks to the hidden beliefs we all have underneath our conscious mind. Beliefs never really looked at or questioned.

No, there's no one behind those eyes. Where in the body are you located, remember that post. People answered all over the place. How come it was such a challenge to answer. Those that answered here, there and everywhere will still think they're consciously looking out those eyes located on the body but say they are located beyond the body. It's energy at play.  What you think you're looking out of is nothing but the seeing energy just seeing and there's a claim that I am seeing. There's not even an I am.
