No Human has ever accomplished anything

One day I meditated after taking a hero dose edible and entered an extremely high state of consciousness. In this state I investigated into the true nature of effort. I asked God if we are all one and completely identical, are we then separated at least through effort. Now I was born a naturally fast runner, this is one of the talents I have. I was told to go outside and run, and this investigation happened over weeks. During this time I eventually LOST my talent of running and became so slow it was embarrassing. I pumped my arms and strained as hard as I could and I ran so slow it was laughable. The next day I went outside and I ran faster than I have ever ran in my entire life. I'm talking running became so effortless if was like I was a professional runner.

Why is this important? I was shown that my efforts were meaningless. In one instance I gave full effort and had inferior results and in another instance I didn't have to try as hard and I got superior results. I got to experience what it was like to have no talent for running and then got an opportunity to experience having a ridiculous level of talent for running. This shows that you as God truly are dreaming up your own limitations which means every single human on the planet is completely blameless.

The only one who accomplishes anything is God, every human is a part of God having limitations placed upon them and then are struggling within those limitations and without a state change in their consciousness they literally cannot get outside their own limits. This humbled the hell out of me because I got to see how my human identity is completely powerless in the face of God's power. Completely blew me away. So all of my accomplishments are meaningless, it is just God accomplishing whatever it wants through its human creation.

Also apparently Sages and Mystics have talked about this as well. Found a video where an old guru explains this but I'm telling you now it's one thing to hear this and another to actually experience it!!

The video is kind of long you can hear him discuss this some where around the 20 minute mark.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

This is where "sprint at 95% intensity" comes from. You want to tap into the innate flow of your body, which sometimes requires pulling back so you can feel it.

Effort entrenches the false reality and keeps oneself believing in it. It must be true, right? Look I am getting somewhere. I am someone and special. The effort needed is to withdraw effort. This returns one to square one and now good stuff can happen because I am not doing it.

Nice post.

I often had similar idea. For instance, I was moderating a meeting or similar. And I notices the group dynamics in the room, subtle patterns in the words and relationship of people. And I always wondered "ok but HOW do I notice this? WHO actually gives me the information to see that person A is feeling this or that person B is saying that but is actually not fully honest etc etc

Or people told me "good job" re some events, and I just responded "yeah but it wasn't me! I actually did nothing" My ego couldn't accept the credit because I felt it wasn't really me achieving anything...

@Razard86 you say without state change you cannot get out of own limits - but who changes the state? Again God, isn't it?

Here are smart words that present my apparent identity but don't mean anything. At all.

Yes its God but there are methods that we can iniate said state change like meditation, diet, psychedelics, intention, etc. that creates the possibility that state change is possible but yes ultimately the one that determines the result is God. I had a time period where I was getting the results that I wanted that I had an illusion that I was in control and then sure enough like all things that control was wrested from me.

So yeah all we can ever do is set an intention and earnestly follow through the best we can and allow what will be to be. But discovering everything is STATE is crazy. I posted in the past a video of a guy who took 5 MEO and temporarily his eye sight improved and he didn't need his glasses anymore and as soon as someone handed him his glasses again he fell back into the state of imperfect eye sight. I can post it again if it interests you.

We are really all locked in States of Consciousness, I like to call them States of Miracles we are all locked into our Miracle Experience of Reality and it will take a Miracle to get outside of it.

Yes the same can be applied to yoga, it's a technology to reach a higher state of consciousness.

You think your body isn't flexible, when in fact it's your mind that isn't flexible and isn't surrendered.

When you do yoga and just surrender to the pain, suddely your body becomes more flexible that is because you've surrendered your mind to a higher state of consciousness.

And as ramana has said, suffering leads to god realization. So every ounce of pain you surrender yourself to is a blockage you overwin.

I work as a project manager in construction.

The moment I try to use force, or think I have any semblance of control - it all goes to shit.

I've completed maybe, 6 new medical centres, 3 bunkers for nuclear experiments (synchrotron) and countless smaller refits and extensions.

The project is totally out of my control when live.

I had to realise this before I had any success: inclement weather, logistics, contractor scheduling, sickness, approvals, deadlines, cost blowouts. The whole this is a nightmare of constantly shifting variables coming from the reality of the actual jobsite, the clients and stakeholders and a bunch of mistaken beliefs.

I always always ALWAYS have the most success by surrendering totally to the flow of the job sequence, keeping a very keen eye on progress, and simply acting to move some element or apply my energy when the probability of success seems greatest. And all I do is just gently divert my awareness - like a spotlight checking over it all. I engage with the flow and let it take me, and simply act with wisdom when I see opportunity.

But in the end I have ZERO control.

I've has some miracle like shit line up to make a deadline.

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

So much wisdom here. I'm glad we have the opportunity to hear your perspective. You should share more when you have time.

Ahhh yeah I had the illusion of control as well for some time! And then I got shown that I have no such thing at all :D

Yes please post the video, I am curios.

What you say align also with Daniel Schmidt, meditation teacher and producer of "inner worlds, outer worlds " and the "Samadhi series".  He say sth like "enlightenment is a happy accident, but with techniques we can make ourselves more accident prone". I am not sure to be honest. Could all be a ng joke, believing in such things. Really don't know. Maybe there is no causality at all? Funny thing, you can't decide what to believe. Experiences shape your believes, and assuming that the type of experiences are out of our control....well, it's a loop I fear :D

I think it's both. Mind and body separation is simplification, but IME it goes hand in hand.

Where I agree is that doing more yoga changes my body, changes my experience. I focus more on my body and nervous system recently, and I like the results.
