This is not about enlightenment, it's about psychology, very useful imo.

Btw I’m the greatest narcissist of all, it’s just not obvious

I’ve spent countless hours compulsively fantasizing about this ideal cool hot self that impresses people LOL

(I don’t do that anymore but it still shows my narcissism)😂😂😂

Narcissist is someone who put first his self image and then the reality. Narcissist is who believes his lies, because his emotional system doesn't allow him another option. He can't be naked, true, even being alone, he needs always a lot of stories about himself rounding is his mind, and when he relate with anyone he does from that need, to feed his self image. He can seem nice but he's always a scammer, a vampire. Seems that he gives but it's to take

It's a stupid attitude, because leads to madness, very bad life

Same i often wonder.

Because i’ve been in a way obsessed with myself. Often thinking i’m not good enough or whatever though. But i also always want(ed) to impress people.

And then when i thought enlightenment or liberation is possible-ish. I thought i will be soooo cool and impressive when I’m enlightened.

If you were a narcissist you couldn't say that. Everyone has the self image around, almost nobody is totally free, it's very difficult, but the narcissist is who believes their lies, it's bit psychotic

Yea but i have this obsessive mind that obsesses over things. For example a long time ago i was obsessed with my hair. I looked into every reflecting surface to see if my hair was alright. And this is exactly what narcissus did in the water pond  🦭

Not everywhere, just where it is. Everyone has some narcissism, it's important to understand it.

Yah you are right, nothing wrong, and just 10.000 us in 1 year

Btw nahm used to say that he is millionaire due his 3 business

Anyway, let's forget the conversation, you are right, he's the most legit person. I understand your point, you judge according your emotions. It's ok.

Even if I refrain from levying your own level of paranoia against you and assume you are being 100% accurate in your portrayal of the facts, taking money for services is not a proof against one being enlightened. You're engaging in conspiratorial thinking. "He is taking seemingly large amounts of money for a service => surely this must mean he is only in it for the money and his services have zero value and he has none of his alleged qualities". There is no necessary direct causal connection between these two things. There is a high degree of uncertainty between them, and you are playing on a high degree of suspicion and mistrust for your causal connection to become the most likely option.

Quote

paranoia

/ˌparəˈnɔɪə/

noun

1.

unjustified suspicion and mistrust of other people or their actions.

"I got into a state of paranoia about various night noises which in daylight seems utterly silly"

2.

the unwarranted or delusional belief that one is being persecuted, harassed, or betrayed by others, occurring as part of a mental condition.

Today, we're all like this. The key is to realize it and focus on substance, not appearance. The true narcissist is the one who can't stand it. The pressure is so great that he invents a parallel reality bubble in which he designs a brilliant self-image and believes it.

Since this is a distortion, he always needs validation, so his entire speech, in one way or another, revolves around that self-image. Your speech now revolves around your truth. The difference is essential.

There is a part of me which is just absolutely obsessed with others perception of me. And also want to control it. And also thinks everything is about me or my responsibility. Which seems pathological. And i think the only sustainable remedy-ish i found thus far is non duality.

Yeah, the remedy is that, not exactly non duality but spiritual development. The need to connect with others is inevitable; we're human. Connecting from a self-image is misery; you're like a beggar asking for alms. The point is to connect from an open perspective, letting what's inside you flow, and seeking real connection.

I know the concept of transmission just breaks some people's minds and they can't get their head around it and they don't seem to experience it. But you can enlighten somebody through a picture. If your only interface with reality is your neurotic mind and you face a brick wall when it comes to anything energetic, of course you will distrust people who claim to do anything energetic. But then simply invoke the fact that you are ignorant instead of pretending like you're uncovering a conspiracy every time you talk about a semi-renowned spiritual person.

That's very dangerous territory. First, you define enlightenment as the end of suffering and immortality, something anyone would want, the most any human being can aspire to. And then you say you can give that in exchange for money.

Lol. You also have to spend time on Enlightenment, which is money.

The enlightened master has to have money so they can spend time on enlightening you. Do you want them to spend the most amount of time enlightening people or spend their time doing something else and less time enlightening people?

If you're not open to transmission yourself, it's unlikely that you will be convinced just by showing examples. But this video came to mind. But if you are genuinely curious, look into it yourself. You have ChatGPT for god's sake.

I believe that you can have strong spiritual experiences and awakenings with transmission or with anything psychedelics etc. But liberation i doubt it, who knows.
