@Leo Gura if you feed someone psychedelics and hypnotize them into believing they're a dinosaur, is there a chance that their normal waking reality becomes that of an actual dinosaur? Meaning while not on any chemicals, 24 hour waking consciousness?

So no human can permanently transcend their human-ness? If all of reality is happening in this moment right now then theoretically you should be able to. 

I thought it was consciousness rendering the human, not human rendering consciousness?

So, I am in this partition of consciousness that is human?

@Butters the human is a second order illusion created out of the illusion of physics , so it has no capacity to change itself in that way. 

To become a dinosaur in waking life, you’d have to dream a completely different physics, biology, and memory structure from scratch—not just believe it, but fully hallucinate a new physical framework.

Maybe in an astral projection or lucid dream experience you could do it, if that's a capacity you have .

Maybe  with Salvia you could experience being an actual dinosaur.  But it won't last.

The answer is that you can not be a dinosaur, nor can you "be" a human.

You are not a human. 

Both "human" and "dinosaur" are conceptual overlays of who you actually are.

It is consciousness rendering the human.

A human is something. Consciousness can not render nothing. Consciousness renders everything at once, always.

A human is only some of that (something). 

And if you want to be some-thing, like a human— you can not be other-things or every-thing. 

To be a human is just one of any possibilities and everything is unique.

So to go from human to dinosaur, within consciousness— technically seamless.

But what seamless actually feels like: death.

You can’t be a human and a dinosaur at the same time. That’s something else.
