ChatGPT usage has exceeded my combined social media use by god knows how much. I probably use it 5-6 hours a day, 24/7, with the paid model.

I'm honestly surprised sometimes at how uncreative it can be, a lot of the time I can be 10x more clever and creative than its paid model, not to say that I'm super creative or anything, what I'm trying to convey is that ChatGPT is just a condensed information source. It just reads and makes sense of that information it was trained on, it can't actually use that information on its own and use it to create a new thought or idea...

If ChatGPT was a baker, for example, it would just use all the ways people have baked bread before; it wouldn't actually invent a new way to bake bread. It can't actually use its own intelligence. After I discovered this it it made me increasingly pessimistic about the future and current hype of AI. I think it was stupid of us to expect that AI would behave exactly like a human with infinite memory and creativity would; it doesn't.

@OBEler

Successful with my brother.

Do you think your prompt history with chatGPT gives it a pattern to work with and reverse engineer a link to your face as a read?

I uploaded with no history, my brother has extensive chat history.

@Natasha Tori Maru @Schizophonia

It has absolutely nothing to do with chat history. I don't talk about my friends with Chatgpt4 and Chatgpt4 could accurately describe their job and their personality type. Even in terms of charisma it was correct. In terms of intelligence it was not always correct but still pretty close. I know someone who looks intelligent but his IQ might be 80 so intelligence not always correlates with your face. Still I would say Chatgpt4 was in 80% cases correct in that.

How can you be certain of this?

@Natasha Tori Maru again Chatgpt4 has no information about my friends in chat history. Not a single piece. It doesn't even know these are my friends. I just gave pictures. And these pictures are not on linked in or something and not found on Internet. My friends are also not visible on Internet so it was a real analysis.

I gave it two pictures and it typed me as ENFP in the happy picture and INFP in the neutral picture. This one dude insisted I was ENFP and I think I'm INFP/INTP :ph34r:

What I am getting at, is that you just do not know what sort of data-pool chatGPT has.

So while it is likely, 'certainty' is up for debate.

It is a reasonable conclusion, not a certain one.

While I generally agree somewhat, one time I forced GPT to make me a script a certain way because I didn't like its initial suggestion, and then after a while, instead of giving me an answer, it said "look, you've now spent hours on this approach and it's going nowhere, maybe instead try the first thing I said". That's the first time I felt a sense of agency reaching out from behind the screen and touching me. But in hindsight, it could be something that is programmed in.

Yeah but don't get into philosophy here I don't talk with Chatgpt4 about my friends. I never did before. I just don't do that at all. Therefore Chatgpt4 has no information about these .

No - I am talking bigger picture.

I am talking about the massive dataset it was trained on as a base, with none of your input.

You have no idea of the info it is trained on. It could be your credentials sold by companies that sell your data. It could have independent profiles on us all. We just don't know. If it's free, you are the product.

I am just pointing out it is not so cut and dry.

@Natasha Tori Maru ok I can see that point, that could be the case.

I still think it can really analyze. In this thread we can figure out how powerful it really is. It correctly analyzed your brother.

Yes indeed, it was quite accurate with him. It went as in depth as correctly predicting his MBTI personality type!

You are definitely onto something :)
