Leo how do you sustain your "understanding" despite not taking psychedelics anymore?

I find it too easy to get caught up in the dreams webs unless I somewhat regularly unplug via marijuana, or psychedelics.

You know like getting caught up in personal arguments with people, or political, survival, etc...

It seems to me like despite the fact that you haven't taken psychedelics in quite a while, you continue to retain many of you're most profound realizations.

I guess I've taken them so much that I reached a point where all my realizations are easily accessible at least as memories. Overall my entire understanding of reality is just so solid at this point that it's like riding a bicycle, I don't really forget it. I can get distracted by human stuff, but my metaphysical understanding don't go away.

I've contemplated this question as well. My feeling is that all the "consciousness space" Leo has Awoken to, is now being interconnected and holistically understood. However, I don't see how he will breakthrough into new outrageous Awakenings without psychedelics.

I will be doing serious solo retreats.

That's more important for me now than more psychedelics.

Well, it's not like you have another option. I agree that it will be super interesting to see you developing in that axis. Very excited for that.

It's just important to acknowledge in my mind the limitations that your new situation will make in your metaphysical and consciousness work.

@Leo Gura, what are your expectations from the solo retreat?

Would you continue doing psychedelics if you didn't have health issues? Would they be useless at this point?

How do your structure your retreats? Any setting of intention .. also how do you measure progress from them?
