Trump seeks obedience

Trump seeks adoration first and foremost. Always has. He is acting like he demands obedience for two reasons. One, he needs it to continue his reign. Two, his target audience adores a man who demands obedience. He acts hard because he knows that's what the people want. The first time he reflexively attacked the media in public and watched the crowd cheer, he discovered they like it when he plays big daddy.

Adoration first, domination second, as a tool for admiration. I think he'd trade the latter for ample amounts of the former.

His deepest emotional gratification seems to stem from being adored. He often softens or backtracks when met with disapproval, which is inconsistent with true dominance-first personalities who often double down regardless of reception.

A truly domination-first personality wouldn’t care about being liked.

Elon musk on the other hand does seem like domination-first. He'll tell the whole world to fuck off if it comes down to it. Kind of like Kanye. 😆

This could explain a bit more why Elon musk is suddenly against this big beautiful bill.

Government wants to centralize AI.

@Joshe True, perhaps those who aren't spiritually fulfilled and whole are all looking for adoration or to be seen - and seeking it through different means.

Maybe there's a distinction between social dominance (energy) and mental dominance (entrepreneurship). Trump dominates people by instinct, Elon dominates problems by intellect. Elon has a vision, and will dominate his way to it as a builder, he's obsessive. Trump lacks one, except that he should be glorious, he is the vision - he sells himself whilst building nothing of real value.

But Trump has a dominating energy that Elon doesn't, except that he has a dominating mindset. Trump walking into a room shifts the energy and pulls people in, Elon walks into a room and attracts people to his mind and ideas. Trump makes people feel (polarized for sure, good or bad), Elon makes people think.

The combination of both is rare - true philosopher king types. Barack Obama came close, Putin also but much colder and suited to the Russian temperament. This isn't about us agreeing to their politics or philosophies (visions), only that they have substantive visions they've sold their people on, unlike Trumps more shallow one.

Elon doesn't embody confidence - dominance like Trump. He's in his head with his mind racing about everything and the future, he's in the future and trying to build it. Compared to Trump who is present, just speaking his mind shamelessly with no tip of the tongue moments or awkwardness. Perhaps Elon didn't see that slap coming from Donny who's present while the he's star gazing:

Both are dads but Trumps daddy coolio. See his two fingers on Elons elbow establishing dominance.

To showcase dominant energy in even a short king, see Putin strut:

Shawty smoother and more embodied than Elon jumping on stage.

@zazen  Both are narcissists with extremely strong egos.  Trump came into money and was able to use it because he stayed away from drugs and alcohol unlike his brother Fred who died in his 40s from alcohol abuse.  So he had some luck in that he inherited wealth and then he made business moves and had an incredible drive to get ahead.  Once that happened politics was easy.    But be careful not to glorify guys that just want to feed their ego.  He's most likely very shallow inside.

Is Elon musk really leading companys like Steve Jobs did or is he just mostly disconnected. He has too many things going on. That is completely impossible to really manage all of them.

Well having more parties is nice 😊

But the richest man in the world with a huge social media platform and an army of bots who loves to do fun salutes with the right arm? No bueno.

@PurpleTree Money can't buy government.   Someone needs to tell him this.  He has a bigger head than Trump.  If it's possible.

Well..if it can lets see if the "America party" comes about...these guys are a hoot.  Maybe Joe Rogan should run for Pres next time...  I mean.. he is an idiot and he's got the popularity.  That's what got Trump in right?  Musk is such a power hungry goon.  I don't think he even needs drugs to make his silly brain tick.  He's just a freak out the gate.

Partly. I think as a human being Trump is probably worse than Musk. But Musk is more dangerous imo because he has a lot of ideas how society "should be" and is very productive. While Trump is more of an empty angry shell.
