Tired of duality everywhere!

I wanted to watch a movie to disconnect from work, just to find out that every movie is about duality, conflict, competitivity, comparison... the eternal keys to suffering.

All mainstream culture seems created to increase the dual gap, to reinforce individiality over collective. Have you seen the typical talent shows? you worth it and the other dont... one wins and the other loses and is sad, its a damn competition of the ego, so sick.

Do you know movies that avoid the dual ego perspective? I think in music it will be easier, but in movies or novels?

You're trying to find something that isn't there. This kind of response to life will drive the neurosis even further. Not sure what you expect to find or what you think non-duality VS duality looks like. Neither can be applied. It's already not separate. The expression of life will appear dual. Learn to not be so anal about the duality and recognize there's already wholeness and completion. It can't really be recognized but the separation can be seen to be illusory.

You're complaining about a talent show competition that's meant to be entertainment and fun. That says more about your ego than those in the show. Lighten up, loosen up a bit. All there is is wholeness as it is.

"Tired of duality everywhere"? It's all you'll see If there's a seer. Duality stems from non-duality so how can anything that appears be nondual in appearance? There's an energy there that needs to loosen up.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

I think perhaps you mean conflict vs collaboration instead of duality as well duality is an illusion of the mind you can unsee it if you want to.

It’s a good question though and indeed harmony and peace are easier to find in music than in movies/novels, something around the storytelling I guess. How do you tell a good story without a conflict is an interesting question to ponder, I feel like that’s the whole point of physical reality to have conflict and eventually resolve it.

Even love movies with no violence are in a way all about conflict or at least growth through pain right so perhaps it’s just a feature of the universe.

Even Christianity says the point of this painful life is to get closer to God so in a way get tired of conflict and want harmony.

All story is about conflict.

You can't sell a story where a guy just sits under a tree in happiness.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Watch Harry Potter. There is some conflict, but it mostly focuses on the positive. And, it is self-soothing.
