Seriously, if you can invent a more efficient mosquito trap, that is worth tens of millions of dollars.

Most mosquito traps are inefficient.

More like a Mosquito repellent system. idk how would that work, but it would repel mosquitos from a zone by using smell or light or whatever idk.

Bug Problems

That looks like a slow and painful death for insects. I've just bought a mosquito net for my bed because I've had so many sleepless nights because of them, but I still wouldn't use traps like these. It's so painful to watch, especially knowing that moths and other insects will get trapped and die slowly.

Mosquito's are the deadliest animal for humans on earth.

Kill imo 😈

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

I started a convo with Claude about this last post about Cognitive Phenotypes:

The Philosopher's Brain Type https://www.actualized.org/insights/the-philosophers-brain-type

I did not noticed the final end Note, and then Claude gave me some stuff about that:

Great term — "cognitive phenotype" nicely captures that cluster of traits in an elegant, non-clinical way.
On the closing note: that's an interesting turn. If "properly done" philosophy requires you to check validity criteria — coherence, rigor, absence of contradiction, testability of premises — at some point you hit a limit: who validates the validator? Then three classic exits appear: infinite regress, circularity, or stopping at an axiom/foundation you accept without further justification (faith, intuition, or "God" as you put it).
This is literally Agrippa's trilemma. It's not a weakness of philosophy — it's philosophy being honest about its own limits. The question "how do you know you did it right?" is itself a second-order philosophical question (the epistemology of epistemology), and it too will hit the same bottom.

Of course I asked to tell me more about This Agrippa Trilema and about Agrippa himself:

Agrippa was a skeptic philosopher (probably late 1st century BCE or early 1st century CE) about whom almost nothing biographical is known — he only reaches us through Sextus Empiricus, who summarized his five "modes" (or tropes) of Pyrrhonian skepticism. The trilemma is a later simplification of those five modes into three central problems, sharpened memorably by the German philosopher Hans Albert in the 20th century (the "Münchhausen Trilemma").
Agrippa's five original modes:
Disagreement — philosophers disagree about almost everything, with no neutral criterion to decide who's right.
Infinite regress — every justification requires another justification, which requires another, indefinitely.
Relativity — things appear different depending on the observer, context, and conditions.
Assumption (hypothesis) — at some point, to stop the regress, you simply assume something without proving it.
Circularity (reciprocity) — A is proven by B, which is proven by A.
The trilemma (condensed, modern version): every attempt to justify a belief ends in one of three outcomes, and none of them is fully satisfying:
Infinite regress — you never reach a final foundation, you just keep pushing the question back.
Circularity — the justification ends up resting on itself.
Dogmatism (the "arbitrary cutoff") — you stop at some point and declare "this is self-evident" or "I just accept this" — without justifying why there and not somewhere else.
The name "Münchhausen" comes from the legend of Baron Münchhausen pulling himself out of a swamp by his own hair — an image for the impossibility of a system grounding itself without outside help.
Why this connects to what you said: when you ask "how do you know if you did philosophy properly?", you're asking for a validation criterion. But every validation criterion also needs to be validated — and then you fall into one of the three outcomes. Saying "you realize God" is, structurally, a version of the fourth mode (assumption/hypothesis): it's an undemonstrated stopping point, but experiential rather than logical — which is consistent with contemplative and mystical traditions, which historically resolve the trilemma not through proof but through direct realization (gnosis, satori, etc.) — shifting the problem from "propositional justification" to "knowledge through direct experience."

Looking forward to knowing where you live so i can rob you of all your material stuff,  because I'm stronger than you. and i gotta survive.

First things first I will be using this as evidence in court. Then I will start a new social media campaign against you, getting the ball rolling in blacklisting you from future career endeavors. Once finished with round 1 hazzing, I will higher a private investigator and recruit and online hacker to mount your devices doxing you and everyone related, to anonymously hand out your info on the dark web, along with private messaging boards tailored to leak the info onto 4chan and twitter.

Then finally the nuclear option: The smear campaign. Anonymously, I’ll gather groups of cheap labor from around the globe with multiple bot armies to spreading roomers calling you a pedophile and terrorist to major influencer and public media mouth peace, telling fake stories of your atrocities. Day in and day out as the signal becomes louder and loader, people will start to believe the claims more and more. Every day you will have people coming up to harass you, in person and online. Your face will be known world wide, and those without meaning will make it their mission to slander you around the clock day and night.

You won’t be able to leave your house safely, and may even pressured, then surprisingly forced to register as a sex offender. Then finally, I’m going to get Chris Hansen to show up at your house.

With A few false testimonies, from our newly devoted fan base, you’re already in prison. Actually, there’s so many claims, you may even get the death penalty. Now that you’re in prison I don’t expect you to find many friends. Child molesters don’t get that kind of treatment. In the lowest rung of the prison higharchy you get a surprise visit. The few visits you get are usually from the devoted ready to slander a dying individual one last time. Not even your family visits, as they are advised not to. Actually the gaslighting is so effective, they don’t know what to believe. Their survival is far too attached to stay. Still taking a visit is better than nothing, you have nothing to do as you wait to pass. And then you notice something. Something is off about this encounter. There’s a smiling grin ear to ear. You’ve experienced your fair share of hatred and interrogation, but not quite a grin. Who is this person. What could they be smiling about. You brace for the oncoming attack, but it’s a call out. A name. “YIDIRYIDIR was it?” You pause. What is this person talking about. “YIDIRYDIR Yes! Don’t you remember me?”. You pause, you really don’t know what this person is talking about. “Shananigans. Actualized.org. Remember you threatened to take all my stuff?” You blank. Like a thousand years of information coming flooding in your brain you pause. Every memory flashing by since that encounter, but under a new context. You’re still too shocked to be angry, you’re frame has disintegrated as all you can do is listen. “Hey Hey! Now we’re getting somewhere! You see, 5 years back I didn’t exactly take your comment lightly, so I started a little bit of a campaign behind the scenes. Boy did it work far better than I was expecting!” [….why…] “And you see things went a little overboard, but my mama always told me to never back down” […Why…] “By this point the machines was already rolling and so it’s out of my hands.” “WHY!” “Why? Don’t be silly. You deserved this. You wanted to know the limits of survival, and I gave you exactly that”. You feel like Winston in 1984. The logic of his mackanations seems beyond you. You cannot fathom what drives a person to do this… Why… What purpose. The ruminations of ‘…Why..”echo like a konan, that you never expect to complete, “Well it seems prison has treated you well and I don’t exactly need to spend any more time here. You look like shit btw. Anyhoo I’m going to go live my life now, peace.” Suddenly a jolt. All the anger that has been pent up from years of unjust suffering, tolerance, releases like a floodgate. You scream. But immediately you vocal cords give out from a pressure never designed to accommodate. You start punching the glass. You may very well break it. The phone is going to go next when gards come up from behind restraining the force of a lifetime of rage. They start to beat you but you can’t feel a thing. There is only red. There is only release. As muscles begin to become locked and tears begin to flow from the eyes there is only one thing to do. You channel all your energy into one final glare hoping for it to do something anything. But that which you see with your eyes wells a new sensation of murder you have never felt in this lifetime. Pure avarice. the desire for extermination from existence. These permeate into your heart and spreads to every nerve in your body as you watch a cool and collected figure saunter out without a care in the world. He’s doing this just to taunt me, your instincts ring. But you don’t care anymore. Your past the point of caring. You flail and the lightest movement retest every restrain on your limbs. You need to retest if there’s something or anything. Your forced back to your cell. Bruised harder than you were just earlier that day. You cell mates don’t give a shit. They just say deserved. You break down crying but before you can get anywhere you’re cell mates tell you to shut up or they’ll beat you harder. You collapse and don’t move for days. Anger swells throughout the sessions as you live in the infirmary, but pass with a feeling of hopelessness and depression. You think back, what the fuck is wrong with people, as the drugs drift you in and out of conciseness. You live out the next 20 years of your sentence and die. Even in your final moments you don’t know who’s behind that glass. Just how bad was the slander? Is my mom even there. Who would want to watch me die. You feel the injection come into your nerves. This is the end. You cry as there was so much to life you wanted to live. So much you wanted to see. All held back because of what? A tiny mistake. Is there no mercy in humanity. These thoughts ruminate as you life flashes before your eyes. This is it. Thank God. […….•¥€¥¥•£The End.]

People will go on to learn the truth. Years later. Your death will contribute to a culture of forgiveness and tolerance on the claims of others. People will value truth and evidence more using you death as a reference point for needing validation. In this way you will be a martyr, for a cause you never knew you were a part of. And in this way survival will have evolved. The tactics and strategies that would have allowed for such atrocities will have been systematically patched by later generations. You served your purpose, even when dead. In this way, your death will have been the fuel that a system consumed to produce new life. The lives of others. And now you will get to start a new. Never take death or survival for granted.

@Leo Gura

I was studying your definitions of the aspects of intelligence from your Lecture "How Socialization Makes You Stupid - Problems With Conformity & Group-Think"

Is it feasible for you to drop some hints as to what is "oblique thinking?"

Side Note: Also, it appears that upgrading my thinking comes from deconstructing models of thinking I have picked up from my education/culture? Like Deconstructing rationalism, science, etc. Like doing that epistemology with a fine toothed comb will slowly free up my thinking to more intelligent thinking and understanding of Reality.

It's hard to articulate.

Typical thinking is direct and explicit because it deals with concrete things.

Oblique thinking is a way of thinking that is deliberately not so explicit but nebulous because it is handling nebulous things which it does not want to define.

Most scientific thinking stupidly tries to define everything, ending up over-defining things. Oblique thinking recognizes that problem and avoids being too explicit. It's more fuzzy and intuitive. For example, when you think about infinity, you want to be careful not to think about it too concretely as that ruins it.

Typical thinking is like looking Medusa straight in the eyes and turning to stone. Oblique thinking is looking at Medusa without looking directly at her.

Sure. Typical thinking is like driving on well-paved roads and highways. True thinking is like driving off-road. First you learn to drive on the highway, once you master that you can venture off-road. Most humans never go off-road.

Deconstruction eventually ends in complete autonomy of mind, where you can think fully independently of what anyone else has thought. You can invent entirely new domains of thought. In order to do that you need to understand how all current ways of thinking are just arbitrary and nothing more than social convention.

Your average scientist does not understand how science is a human construction. He thinks science is concretely real. So he cannot think beyond it. To think in new ways requires seeing that the old ways aren't reality but just human conventions. For example, your typical scientist thinks that you can't do science on God. But you can realize that you can, just in other ways.

You have to unearth and see through all the assumptions that ground conventional human views of things.

@Leo Gura Appreciate it.

To take a stab at it...

Oblique thinking can look like abstract implicit thinking about things like: Bias, Ego, Love, Intelligence, Survival, Consciousness ?

It appears you are pointing to working with implicit knowledge without ever 100% anchoring down into explicit domain. Without letting the thought harden into a finite symbol or metaphor. Perhaps thinking about things that are from the absolute, direct experience, in which language cannot capture.
Lets say with thinking about God/Infinity, where thinking about God will never capture it because thinking is finite, and God is infinite. This would be the domain of thinking that is beyond language or beyond symbolic that we don't (yet) have symbols for or never will have symbols for...?

Yes.

Oblique thinking is a way of getting around the limitations of finite symbols and langauge.

For example, to say something of God while knowing as you say it that that's not entirely what is being meant.

You can use a symbol while mentally noting that that symbol is not really what you mean. It is a diliberate slipperiness to language. It is a way of grappling with high levels of abstraction without breaking the abstraction by making it explicit.
