Yum.

You notice taste difference between different coffees too right? I’m still a beginner drinker but damn I notice significant differences. I’ve noticed somewhat of a trend where if a coffe has like a greyish tone to it , it’s not gonna taste as good, meanwhile warmer toned coffees taste fresher and better

Lol no not at all, for me coffee is coffee.

Eventually I noticed that cold brew coffee was more enjoyable; Smoother, less acidic and bitter.

I know the two main families of Arabica and Robusta coffee; That corresponds well to what you are describing..

For me coffee is the Senseo random pods or instant coffee that my parents buy 😂

I might be able to see the difference if I tried several things and prepared in a better way.

When you say you see the difference, do you mean you drink espressos now or you even see the difference with sugar and/or milk?

Then it's a bit boring to do.

Ok.

I don't know if you know it, but I like chicory too, even more than coffee.

It is a caffeine-free and local alternative.

I bet you’d notice a difference. Because it’s not like I have a special ability to be able to do that.

i don’t drink espressos id be so suprised if i ever found a coffe i liked black. I drink with milk, and even then i notice the difference.

What is chicory ? I know i can google but i might as well ask you. You think it’s tastier ?

Do you recommend me any coffees or a particular way of preparing it?

It's an infusion that closely resembles coffee in both color and taste. It's popular among older people in France, lol, because it was used as an alternative during World War II.
It's milder and less bitter than the coffee of memory. It's been a long time since I bought some, so I'll have to try it again.

In the alternative category, carob is also nice if you go to an organic store.
It's similar to cocoa but lighter, a little sweet, and less bitter, if not not at all, and with a sort of caramelized taste, reminiscent of the coffee from what i remember.

I’m a newbie so I don’t know. I’ve only tried instant coffee and brewing. And brewing tastes better . But there are probably even more sophisticated ways.

Life can be so simple sometimes. Right now I’m just laying on my couch and chatting away. Feeling calm and peaceful. I am glad I went to the gym today and got my steps in. Sometimes I dread the gym but I remind myself it’s always worth it.

Even the pros can feel this way. But kudos to her for still going after it

I once "easily" ran a half marathon in one go when I was 18.
No joke.

Sincerity moderator wrote under the post about woman being groped by women:

“I truly believe the forum should be more strict with what it tolerates - especially the utter bullshitters, those who are here to just fuck around or spout low quality replies, and those who propel drama. But every coin has two sides. Stricter moderation is, I guess, more authoritarian. And everyone has different views on what is noxious to the community. My views will not be aligned with others’. Basically the overall direction of moderation is only up to Leo - and that’s good, since it’s his platform.

What’s also an interesting argument against the more authoritarian attitude - and this is not something Leo has said anywhere, but something I was thinking about - is whether a lower-quality user generating a lot of engagement is better than the user not being here. I realize this is complicated and that a lower-quality user can make the higher-quality ones go away, but on the other hand engagement is the pulse of the forum. So for example, take someone who posts a lot, they do have some wisdom and share it sometimes but 98% just fucks around - are they better for the life of the forum or no? Or an utter bullshitter who creates considerable traffic with the threads they create. Better if they are here or no? I think it’s a matter of assessing what choice leads to overall higher quality and engagement. Also, overall, deciding to what degree the quality in the forum should be prioritized over engagement. It might sound controversial and one could say „of course quality should be prioritized 10x more!!!!” but is that really ALWAYS the right choice?

Tricky dynamics. What’s important to contemplate is what is best for the overall system. And to be clear: I’m NOT saying that Preety being here was good. I think she wasn’t. I’m saying that moderation is complex, and interesting.”

Sincerity is that masculine energy I crave.

Random AI thoughts:

I understand now - when you say "My Mind," you're referring to your own mental community or thought processes, and Sincerity is like an internal moderator who helps you distinguish between what's genuine and what's not.

It's interesting how we can conceptualize different aspects of our thinking as distinct "members" with their own characteristics. Having an internal voice that helps maintain truthfulness and calls out falsehoods can be a valuable part of our mental landscape.

Does Sincerity interact with other "members" of your mental community?

@Sugarcoat Lol.

There are two things, in parallel:

1)We use the forum too much to build a more balanced life, because it's easier.
But then our "libido" automatically tends to override the rules. Even sometimes compulsively.

2)Beyond the obvious rules of decency, which I admit I myself have wrongly failed to respect here and there, many people in spirituality or personal development live in an imaginary crusade.
