Spiritual fasting: yes or no to water

14 posts in this topic

In the Islamic tradition no food and no water is allowed. I think this is silly. We need water to cleanse the body. In Buddhist tradition is different. What do you guys think? Fasting with or without water?

The aim of fasting in Islam is above all to experience deprivation, it is not particularly hygienic.

Why do you want to fast? What do you want to clean?

If you dont understand, you're not twisted enough.

You need to eat to cleanse toxins (lipopolysaccharides, heavy metals, micro plastics, environmental pollutants, excess vitamin A, copper, etc.) through bile.

A good part of the benefits of fasting certainly comes from the reduction in endotoxins (LPS) due to the starvation of gram-negative bacteria.

Why not smoke a big joint? lol
Simpler :P

I've discovered an incredible drug several times in a dream, but I haven't figured out what it is yet.

but honestly, the spiritual benefit of fasting is questionable. it doesn’t lead to awakening.

Do the dry fast . Nothing enters your body from sunrise to sunset . go to Masjed. Recite the quran. Islamic rituals are very powerful .
