@Leo Gura yeah that's kind of the point if i'm gonna work might as well be something i'm passionate about like music for example, not cryptocurrency lol

there's no such thing as get rich quick, your work is lifelong might as well find a way to make it enjoyable and develop mastery and expertise. any field pays money if you got serious talent and skills.

I got rich within a few years. So it can be done. But it's often not worth it.

@Leo Gura Would you say it's not worth it because of the years "wasted" ?

No. It's not worth it in the sense that it crushes your soul. But if you're soulless then maybe that's not a problem for you.

I also got rich relatively quick, wasn’t doing something I loved but also wouldn’t call it “soul crushing” but I got extremely lucky.

@Leo Gura I am curious if you could share any unobvious lessons from your money-making period.

Something you would've done differently?

I am asking especially about the balance between "keeping your soul" and working your way into getting financially independent.

Of course, I understand it's very personal, but maybe some general insights come to your mind?

@Leo Gura Oh, okay. I've heard Owen Cook talk about this point as well—the idea of 'digging the wrong hole' and having to climb back out once you realize you're wasting your time on soul-crushing activities.
