  1. I know it's not instantaneous. Where exactly do you see that Gen Z "might be more conservative than milennials"? Got any sources to back that up? Rural area population is not growing, it's shrinking. Source: https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2018/05/22/demographic-and-economic-trends-in-urban-suburban-and-rural-communities/ Urban/suburban areas trend democratic, and that will always be the case. When people are in a melting pot of different backgrounds and ethnicities, they tend to lean more left than the rural areas that are primarily similar demographics. It's simply an exposure effect. Your claim that Latinos, Asians, and Blacks are going to boost the Republican party is completely unfounded. For one, they are not a monolith. Mexicans heavily support democrat and have always trended that way, and they helped Biden win Arizona. The Cuban population supported Trump and helped him seal Florida, but the Cubans have their own historical beliefs of backing him. With no Trump, there's no reason to believe that certain minority backgrounds are going to continue to support the Republican party. Also, you have glossed over that the Republicans have lost the popular vote 5 out of the last 6 presidential election cycles. This is not a fluke, this trend will continue to get worse for Republicans. No data supports their base growing faster than the demographics favoring Democrats.
  2. Same with your minority claim. Supposedly, both shifted the opposite way, but were not the majority. Look, I'm just looking at the demographic trends with age. Majority of the population who vote Republican are older, and that's a fact Jack. As the younger generations overtakes the older ones over time, it will absolutely lean more democratic. No, milennials aren't going to suddenly become staunch conservative Republicans to counter balance this demographic trend. Texas will eventually go blue, we all know this has been trending that way as its urban populations swell. Arizona might start to trend blue too, Georgia as well. Republican party's only tool is voter supression. They haven't won the popular vote since Bush, anyways. They have lost 5 out of the last 6 populat votes in presidential elections. Time is against the Republicans, not the democrats.
  3. I'm assuming you're sourcing from NYT but I can't read that article because of a paywall. Even if that were true, more white males voted democrat than republican. Either way, no. Mostly boomers vote republican, younger people trend democrat. Republican party is not in position to grow.
  4. Exit poll data in 2020 is not to be trusted. Democratic voters were far more likely to cast mail-in votes than in any election prior due to the pandemic, and Trump actively discouraging his base from mail-in votes.
  5. "You ruined my life!" says the terrorist that tried to overthrow democracy. The lack of self-accountability of the right wings who try to preach self- accountability is astounding. But everything they say and do is hypocritical.
  6. Humans are way too sophisticated and complex to nail down to basic animal biology. We have long past evolved the basic "ook ook, penis means boy" and just leaving it at that.
  7. Parler has been removed from Amazon's web hosting service, and removed from Apple's play store. Good riddance. Gotta love all the right wing snowflakes crying about censorship and freedom of speech, meanwhile their kind literally (badly) attempted to destroy democracy through terrorism. The sooner these people are ousted, the better.
  8. Funny because that guy reminded me of the Forsworn from Skyrim.
  9. Trump can't even walk down a flight of stairs, much less march.
  10. Google has already removed it from its app store. Watching growth and progress unfold in real time is a beautiful thing, but of course it only ever happens because of tragic events.
  11. Trump and his cult have fallen fast and hard. This is a joy to behold.
  12. If Trump created an account here, he'd get banned. It's a private platform. It's definitely a step in the right direction.
  13. Trump has been suspended by Twitter. It's a permanent ban, Twitter has confirmed. WAY too late. Only took violence on our democracy before these social media platforms grew a spine.
  14. https://reut.rs/3s6i51F House to move forward with bringing impeachment charges to Trump on Monday. This is important for three reasons. 1. Trump will be unable to pardon during this time period. This could last past the inauguration. 2. The Democrat senate will be in place past the inauguration. If his impeachment comes from the democrat house and democrat senate, he will no longer be able to hold office in the future. 3. If this goes to Republican senate, this will showcase to the public that once again, Republicans are siding with Trump and therefore siding with terrorists and anti-democratic procedures.
  15. They're both highly skilled at riling up the prejudices of the common working class citizens and scapegoating others for any and all socioeconomic issues. That's about it though. I would say that Hitler was more war hungry and competent, but at that point in history it was easier for someone with his ideals to hijack a country and cause a global war.
  16. While Trump may not face any legal ramifications, hopefully these six Republican lawmakers joining in with the terrorists will. Strip them of their titles, throw the book at them. https://twitter.com/MollyJongFast/status/1347383871332093952
  17. Translation: Don't impeach me. Oh, and I plan on grifting forever.
  18. I wouldn't call barring him from holding any type of political office in the future as useless. It's better than sitting idly by and teaching the cultists that your violent actions don't have consequences. If the president of the united states isn't held accountable, then who is?
  19. Those who incite terrorism should be punished immediately. There is no reason to let Trump off the hook here. Impeach him, have the national guard mobilized to take down the terrorist revolts, and throw Trump in prison. Without disciplining rotten children, they will continue to take advantage until you finally do something for them to respect you. As it stands, consistently turning the cheek for this domestic right wing terrorism will just lead to more casualties and attempted coups.
  20. Leo, you nailed your prediction about Trump flailing and doing everything he can to burn down the system with him. So I've followed your political viewpoints closely. I don't see another con man rising to power with the same moxie to stir up primitive emotions of fear, hatred and discrimination against others like Trump was able to do with the right wing base, so my thought was that MAGA should flare down once he's out of the picture. But the endless, self-bias echo chamber of social media will not go away, and this is a scary realization. The only way that social media platforms will end their enabling of mind poisoning is if they're forced to. It will take several far more intense democracy threatening, safety infringing events than the one that occurred at the Capitol. Shit is gonna have to really hit the fan before the right-wing echo chamber that is entitely based on fiction, lies and fear ever gets policed.
  21. Well, it also helps that Stacey Abrams assisted in registering all of the disenfranchised voters. If anything, this just proves how much the GOP rely on gerrymandering and voter suppression in order to be relevant. More southern states like Florida and Texas need a Stacey Abrams, because they for damn sure would have turned out blue this election cycle.
  22. I used to like Corey Wayne and follow his content. But the dude has proven to be batshit insane. Just look at his twitter. Also, his relationship advice is toxic. It's too one-dimensional, doesn't add any possibility of nuance. "If she says this, do this" or "go ask out 100 girls" is just trash advice. There's no consciousness, no emotion, and takes a lot of magic out of relationships. That's not to say some of his crude advice isn't helpful. The more basic points of being an "alpha" male are worth considering and using as a reference point moving forward. But it dives too deeply into toxic masculinity, and it's stuck in a stage orange dynamic. There are better coaches out there, that are in stage green and yellow. Anyways yeah, fuck Corey Wayne and his Nazi sympathizing point of views.
  23. Flexin' because of our ludicrous military budget isn't the the strongest of all positions, considering we could have universal healthcare for all in our country if we didn't allocate so much money just to be world police. Our hospitals and big pharma are for profit, and not for people. 85% of big pharma firms studied have committed illegal activities. https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-11/uonc-fpi111720.php
