  1. Wonder how effective this is. Doesn't this just create an "I must talk in 3rd person. I must remember this new way of thinking" thought that one is identifying with anyway. Seems like silly mind games.
  2. There is no path, but only a fool does not walk it. If you continue to suffer in life, you know why that is. Remember to be honest to yourself, no matter what you decide to do or not do.
  3. Spend a moth with your parents, then make a report of your current experience
  4. Thats insane. How did you manage your time? You must have had an extremely flexible job or no job at all?
  5. That would depend on your "level" of grasp of non-dual truths and state of being. What is your experience? Can you intuit and sense the timelessness of your dogs soul when you look at him/her in the eyes? Or do you see a sack of meat, bones and fur, thats destiny is to die and dissapear from "this world". Propably a bit of both? Your relationship to your dog is not mere attachment, it is love also. The humane attachment part of you will want to keep the dog forever, but your love part will understand all things are bound to inevitably pass. When it comes to relationships, these two aspects arise mutually, always. Wich part of you will consume you when the time comes? If your answer to the question "would you rather have him live?" is "I dont care", it is not a sign of non-attachment, it is a sign of a lack of love. Only you can estimate how you will react and only you can work towards a deeper understanding of life and death, so your way of being attached to your dog will be of love and not ego when time comes. Without non-dual understanding, you dont have this framework to work with and you will only experience loss and sorrow. Ps. I could not watch your video suggestion at the time of writing this post, will watch it later though.
  6. The king who has to shout at his advisors: "Do as I say, I am the KING!" is not a believable king, a true leader. So it is with anyone who finds him/herself having to state their SD color in order to enforce some opinion/position on this forum. The leadership of a king should be self evident. The wisdom, understanding, compassion and selflessness of turquoise and beyond should be like that as well. We are all passionate (debaters) here, but so often that passion transforms into petty name calling and intentional baiting disguised as clever rhetoric on this forum. Something to self reflect about.
  7. It's about time to slap the good old thread lock on this "discussion" lol
  8. Don't trip in a fasted state, at least for me it would be too intense as in having so severe shakes that meditating would be impossible. Take a shit before you trip. This is the biggest universal wisdom across all psychedelics. Don't be fooled: even though your meditation will feel much much deeper compared to sober, don't intentionally give in to crazy monkey mind stuff. Have an intention to focus. Remember, what ever you see/hallucinate: it can't hurt you. Ask: "What is drawing these images? Who is sending them for me to see? Who is trying to scare me away from meditating? Who is asking?" etc. If you get overwhelmed by energy, as in an urge to move your body/stand up/walk around during meditation, direct that energy into very deep breaths. Intentionally make as big inhales and exhales as you can, you can do this trough your mouth if you feel like it. Then return to nostril breathing. Prepare comedown snacks beforehand. Forget everything you think you know about enlightenment, forget all teachings and one-liners. Focus your attention on what_you_are NOW immediately, and nothing else. Try the strong determination sitting technique. Don't move a single muscle. Not a SINGLE one. After adequate time, you won't be able to tell where "your body" ends and the stuff it is touching starts. If your whole lower body numbs down, let it. Turn on the lights if darkness gets too distracting Godspeed Alex
  9. @Leo Gura Question: are you ever concerned over your sanity when you trip for many days back to back? No matter how developed you are, the mentally disturbed often don't realize they are mentally disturbed. The mind is a strong thing, yet at the same time quite fragile and it has a tendency to catapult shit back if you push it too much. You have said in the past one of your biggest obstacles is your conceptualizing mind, could you imagine your mind constructs lashing out against a 5-meo deconstruction process that is just too fast and too radical to handle?
  10. People who show disinterest in you just for not drinking are not people you want to get to know, period. You should be thanking them, they make it easier for you to spot more high conscious friend candidates. If you want to grow your confidence levels, just order the girliest, sparkliest non alcoholic drink available and sip it trough a straw and look smug, lol. When confronted about not drinkin, you should not start to really explain yourself, just tell them the truth: "I want to be sober". No further explanation is necessary.
  11. All distinctions are existentially just mind stuff, and I would not want to start another "drugs and spiritual progress" discussion, as that horse is not even a wet spot on the ground at this point on the forum. The trip/roll lasts some hours, the time after the trip lasts the rest of your life. What feels off is perhaps that I dont feel chasing someone elses drug experience is a worthy motivation to use as fine and potent of a substance as mdma. Of course, a good roll is a good roll, there is no denying that, even if some pretermined goal is not reached.
  12. Patience, perceverance, determination. Dont look for calmness, clarity, peace or even happiness. Trust in God. Dont look for awareness or consciousness either, look for that wich is continous and unchanging and stay with that. If you feel super confused or catch yourself monkey minding, return to your amness, the most obvious experience of being yourself for a while, just for like 10-30 seconds. Dont over complicate it. Then restart your inquiry. I find it helpful to "clear the table" during self inquiry so I can have many new fresh starts for contemplation/concentration.
  13. Something about this "will this drug make me taste some of what this other person experienced on drugs" seems off to me. Do try it though, mdma is awesome. I doubt it will get you in the same place leo got.
  14. @Tony 845 will this be a group setting? If yes, I would stongly recommend sitting down and really contemplating what you know and dont know, and formulate just one solid question. Why are you seeking? Why are you suffering? Why do you feel you need to know something? This is because you will be much more likely ask low quality questions, that wont benefit you. Read ruperts books and watch his videos and really think: what answers of his are already available to you? What is his teachings essence? What is left unsaid? What is it REALLY about yourself that you dont understand. If its a group setting, there will be other souls that are suffering and wish to be liberatated, just like you. Let other people have their time to ask things. I have attended one 3 day seminar with rupert, and I asked one question only. At the time, the question was really close to home and honest for me, something that I was struggling with. The answer that I got really stuck with me, and Im glad I didnt ask any secondary questions. Other peoples questions and answers will also resonate with you, so you dont even have to ask. Those who asked multiple questions durinf the 3 day sessions also asked the most low quality ones, and judging from the sighs and looks of other people, well... Lets say there was a presence of compassionate frustration. Those who asked only one question, were often the most honest and vulnerable, and the answers that they got were also beneficial to everyone.
  15. I recently attended a weekend Rupert Spira session. This topic came up, and he said he has never talked about non-duality to his son for the sole reason that he has never asked about it. Something to think about
  16. How are you going to communicate about anything if you aren't speaking like either of the charecters? Brilliant video btw. +1 for permasticky
  17. @Privet Well, I was thinking something like high quality studio headphones, studio setting and a pure sinewave to produce the frequencies. Even if the test was done with instruments (in a studio setting), I suppose those who claim to resonate with 432hz should be able to tell the 432hz one, if it really was such an unique and special frequency? I mean, if the recognition of 432 is so hard that the conditions need to be just right, couldn't we conclude that the whole phenomenon only works when it's made easy: a comparison with just 440hz and 432hz? Then we would be again in the realm of "the phenomena of preference of a lower tone to a higher one vs. Its much more, its a spiritual and a more pure tone" Those who claimed they feel 432hz deeper/more in the heart, what kind of study you would design, that you think would be fair to both sides of this issue, and could potentially reveal wich side is right? Is it even possible? Is this topic too far beyond scienece to be made/reduced into science?
  18. If it truly was a more spiritual tone, a closer to heart tone, would you guys be able to tell 432hz apart from other frequencies in a series of tests. What if there was a test where we started from a random frequency, and played several frequencies and one or two of them was 432hz, would you be able to tell? Surely the tone would survive not only a comparion to 440hz?
  19. @pluto im not going to argue against your own experience, but you did not counter any of adam neelys points, wich for me seem to be quite solid. Can you post your studies/data?
  20. @ivankiss I recommend the same video for you as well (aimblacks post, adam neely video). Not here to play the "debunker", rather im interested in this as a case of placebo. I reseaeched into this a few years back and I could swear I heard and felt the difference, until further research changed my perception entirely.
  21. @pluto Have you watched the video Aimblack posted? This topic gets destroyed in that video as reason and rationality goes, but hey, beyond that if you really feel the results and power of either frequency, who is anyone to naysay it.
