  3. When you are about to have an ego death is that when you feel like you are literally dying? Heart beating fast and feels like you are looking at everything with different eyes and then you realize there isn't you. It's just awareness right there. It happened to me last night, sober, and I was so scared. Did not know what to do. Yes, surrender, but my ego did not want too. I was loosing my mind.
