When you say looking at my own direct experience are you talking about my direct experience through me or are you talking about "the other" persons experience just being my own direct experience
  2. For Leo's mindfullness meditation are you allowed to take objects out of a box and have a playlist of sounds you click through to listen to that are consistent?
  3. For the 1st exercise do we draw the line to our sense of self or by you do you just mean anywhere on the body because my sense of self is located in the back of my head so the line can't reach it.
  4. Hi, I've been meditating everyday now for about a year and I have very little emotional intelligence. I was wondering just how important is it, and if it's worth going after at this point or should I just wait till enlightenment my main problem is I meditate 3-4 hours a day so i don't get a chance to go out as much and therefore most of my emotions are subtle.
  5. So I've been wonder lately what are the best things one can do while tripping to learn? Would it be self inquiry, watching videos explain things like the truth, guided meditations, or just sitting with myself
  6. @Joseph Maynor Watch some of Leo's trip reports the stuff that he talks about learning from tripping is truly mind blowing. In this video he talks about some of his beliefs that were shattered.
  7. So I started up contemplation about two weeks ago and right now I want to contemplate what the mind is, but the thing is I have no direct experience of my mind. So whenever I try to contemplate this it's just ideas that i have been feed on what the mind is. So how do you contemplate something you have no direct experince of?
  8. @Leo Gura Hey Leo, so I started up contemplation last week and I've been doing thoughts and I've gotten to a point to where I feel like I'm stuck because I don't know what the mind is so i started contemplating that but the thing is how do i contemplate something I have no direct experince of?

  10. @John I get what you mean by that, i was that way at one point, but you probably want people in your life that are going to accept you for who you truly are, unless you truly want shallow unhealthy relationships.
