  2. @Peter Zemskov Sounds like your Kundalini energy is starting to wake up. Do you keep your body limber? Also, your spine health.. how is it?
  3. @Shiva Could you please refer to some resources about AI that you personally believe are valuable?
  4. @Your place at Heart Good points, I agree that his POV will definitely influence the way you interact and see the world, at least for a little while. I read his books years ago and I still have his ideas in the back of my mind. I feel that they fundamentally changed my world view when i read them, at an age where it was impactful (18).
  5. This is a little story that happened to me today that I would like to share relating to the Defending the Scientific Paradigm. Today, I had Biology class in University and the topic being discussed was Genetics. Mendelian Genetics, that is (Created by Gregor Mendel, the father of Genetics.) Anyways, as my Professor was going over Mendel's background and story, he mentioned that Mendel was a monk. My professor had a snarky laugh and said to the class jokingly, "Monks must have a lot of free time on their hands." The way he said it, was implying that monks were sitting around wasting their time. However this couldn't be the case, especially in Mendel's life. Why? Because one does not simply unravel a discipline like Genetics and cross breeding pea plants by sitting on their butt all day. Gregor Mendel must have had a intense curiosity and a deep fascination with Botany, to the point where he dedicated his life to it, thus being a monk as well... Anyways, my professor went on into a little rant about how scientists and religious people don't mix well. (He was referring to Monks now, in general) He went on to say that "religious people" have a hard time accepting facts, as well as seeing reality as it is... I found this quite ironic that he was bashing the religious persona considering that Gregor Mendel wasn't a quote on quote "Scientist" but actually a MONK! This made me think a bit deeper into the topic and during class i began to question, what about Mendel's worldly perspective at the time? What facts did he pull from the world? Especially since he was born in the 1820s in the Czech Republic? Perhaps his Monk lifestyle PROVIDED him with massive insights into how reality worked and not his rigid, logical, rational outlook on science as a whole? What do you think about this? Was my teacher right for saying what he did? Or was he trying to protect the Scientific Paradigm?
  6. @Socrates I mentioned Robert Greene to Leo and he said he didn't enjoy those books because they were too low consciousness. Personally, I think they give some pretty deep insight, especially if you do shadow work and understand Spiral Dynamics.
  7. Contemplate these: How am I Full of Shit? (In my spirituality, in family, in sexuality, in emotions, in health…etc) How am I hypocrite? How do I make excuses for my bullshit? Who's bullshit do I complain about to distract me from my own bullshit? How am I in denial about my own Bullshit?
  8. @gilded_honour Look up YouTube videos related to the topics he refers to and think critically for yourself.
  9. @Jamie Universe I have been in your spot brother, this was the video that sparked change in my (Along with Leo's Lifestyle Minimalism mentioned above.)
  10. @d0ornokey It only takes 1 highly developed individual to radically transform your life.
  11. @Marinus Here is some of the journal topics if you're interested
  12. @Marinus A good addition to this, would be creating a Common Place Book if you haven't already. Researching topics and understanding them from a variety of different perspectives is gonna help to build your big picture understanding. These would be great to start since you're in college. (Myself included) Leo has videos on what i mentioned if you haven't watched them.
  13. @Wekz Shoot bigger than you can hit, so that when you come up short, it wasn't short after all.

  20. @Ampresus Educate yourself about sexual transmutation. It's one of the most powerful tools we have.
  21. @RichardY are you trying to become higher in conscientiousness for success purposes?
  22. @Andreas Realize the depth of growth you could still achieve by seeing where they're at. And instead of getting rattled up and frustrated, learn to channel that energy into something worthwhile
  23. Hey Guys! I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on specific ways one could open up/purify the heart. If you have one that you would like to add, please comment it below! Here is my list: 1.) Be more vulnerable with yourself, and with others. 2.) Open up your body and give more of yourself when having a conversation. 3.) Meditate and place your attention on the heart 4.) Practice gratitude for the food you can eat, the shelter over your head, the clothes on your back, and the Earth below your feet. 5.) Connect with the Infinite all around you. 6.) Pray for an Open Heart. 7.) Give without expectations 8.) Practice loving kindness and unconditional love 9.) Eliminate judgements, fearful thinking, doubts/assumptions about people.
  24. Based on your " All understanding is metaphoric" videos Not clinging to religous books as the literal truth, the map is not the territory, etc. Also, how not to be attached/identify as an ego. Great example you brought up about America being fought for when "America" isn't even a thing actually but a projection!
