The only lasting way, is what is already the ever-lasting actuality. You are awareness, believing awareness is aware of a separate self, which exists only in thought stories about a self, others, past & future. When you think that way about “your self”, sensational guidance (sensations) are saying “that’s not you! You’re right here!” At some point you added non-sense. Return to sense-a-tion, real-I-zation. Drop that separate self like a jacket you are a-wear-ing. Settle only for the actual-I-ize.

@Ibn Sina If there’s experience, you’re aware of it, and referring to it as, “experience”. What do you call the experience when there’s no “it”? (Just the you) -

@zeroISinfinity It can’t be that simple!!! You’re crazy! -

@electroBeam Reiki classes. There’s a whole network of people, mediums, channelers, etc, ‘under the radar’. Got to “get out there”, you’ll see. If you want to channel your self, it starts with healing & loving, as the self is healing & loving. -

@Aakash Really, the practices are these deeper answers you’re looking for. If you want an opinion where you’re stuck and what to do, anytime. The truest thing I can tell you is meditate, self inquire, whatever else, and see that everything is actually fine. -

@Aakash Sorry, I still don’t see where you’re going with this. If you know a thing is you, there’s no one to ask. If you’re asking, it’s still whatever you think it is. -
@Inliytened1 Well, who do you think? Can you elaborate on the inescapable loop? Yes, no getting around I am my self.

@Aakash Not sure what you’re really saying here. If there’s a thought about war, there’s a thought about war. -
Nahm replied to Autumn's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Autumn Sorry, let me explain where I’m coming from. To me, your posts are patient, open minded, sincere, and intelligent. You’re interested in quantum mechanics, spirituality, and altering ideas of reality. You said reality “itself”, referring to reality as one self, which imo reveals attention to detail. If your picture is indicative of your age at all, that’s somewhat rare. To me, that all indicates you are likely applying a broad perspective, a deep understanding, as well as an acute focus to whatever you are genuinely interested in. You’re also interested in reading, to the extent you made a post about it, so it’s a safe bet you’re a solid ‘learner’ & that would continue. In my opinion, there’s a really good chance that all begins to culminate into an adventure of seeking & discovering for yourself, the Truth, and the nature of consciousness. I’m estimating there’s a good chance that given your passion, sincerity & patience, when you do self realize, you’ll want to help people do the same. The book would be handy in accomplishing this, both for you and seekers. Knowing it’s a true life story from seeker to self realized, written in real time as the experience unfolded (not a recollection of), written by someone who’s preference is for topics along the lines of Dark Matter, “mind-bending” & “reality-changing” - that’s enough for a lot of people to want to read it. Add the plights of your life to that, and it’s potentially a great movie too. In any case, I wish you purpose in whatever you do. Sorry for so much confusion if it was too off your topic. I’d recommend The Nature of Consciousness by Rupert Spira, which took him twenty years to write. -
@Aakash Those 'hands' are your own. @Leo Gura A video with suggestions and insights on how to go about relationships with friends & family while on the path would be really great.

@Vinnie lol. Never. -
@Inliytened1 Your paradox is your illusion. There is no illusion. I agree with you about the forum members, but I don’t share your view of ‘arguing’ or it ‘getting old’. Perhaps such seeing of unwanted, is revealing of more of what is wanted? Maybe the disdain is useful.

Heartwarming. Inspect the barriers you’ve put in place, and you are already home.

@Conrad If you’re seeing the ego is actually just a state of consciousness, then follow through, and see consciousness has no states. The one who is saying, about consciousness, that it has states, believes it is one of these states. Call it whatever you like. If that one were to ask consciousness why it is limited, why it is in states, the answer would be, I’m not.

@Autumn Which book would you rather read, the book written by the post awakened Buddha, most of which is not reachable, or understandable, yet points to what can be discovered, reached and understood. Or, the book Siddhartha started writing about self discovery when he was around 26, and ends post awakened Buddha? The whole story, so to speak. -
Nahm replied to Autumn's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Autumn I know, that’s why it would be such a great book. If you start soon. -
@Conrad I am already you, you are already me, there are ‘not two’. As far as you and or me becoming God, there aren’t three either. Where you’re coming from is nonsense. Which I do not mean in the hijacked common offensive sense, but as a pointer to the apparent recreation of ego which you are looking to see & dissolve. I mean only that you are living without ‘alignment’ with sensation (non-sense / nonsensory). The ego is recreated so the sensations can continue to be misunderstood & suppressed, along with the source of the sensation. Without the mechanisms of protection, is without the ego. Notice how an inquiry within, is rejected and deflected outwardly, by “othering”. With a single “othering” (actually self referential) thought believed, you’re reduced via identity to an apparent separate self.
