Hip hop culture is the epitome of conformity, true. I've met plenty of youngsters all over the world mindlessly copying what they see rappers do. Wether it's in Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Europe, they look, talk, and act the same way. It's like almost a 100 percent of them sell and do drugs, throw gang signs, walk with their pants sagging, and so on. Still, rap is the only music genre I love. There's beauty in the struggle. On top of it, there actually are plenty of unique talented artists in this genre β it's just that they're buried in a pile of mainstream soulless slop.

I place a lot of importance on YouTube and the type of content I consume. I believe we should thoroughly filter content as it influences our thoughts, which then grow to become identity. Let's choose our YouTube channels as consciously as we choose books π Here's my list of truly amazing YouTube channels: Business Conscious sales: https://m.youtube.com/@joshlyons_sales Alex Hormozi (he's so good he deserves to be mentioned again): https://m.youtube.com/@AlexHormozi How to write well: https://m.youtube.com/@DavidPerellChannel Philosophy / spirituality Metaphysics: https://m.youtube.com/@ThirdEyeTyrone Interviews on spiritual topics: https://m.youtube.com/@NewThinkingAllowed Self-improvement for men Pickup https://m.youtube.com/@ToddVDating Social skills in general https://m.youtube.com/@OwenCookFreeTour Entertainment History of human inventions: https://m.youtube.com/@Stephans_History_of_the_World Visualization of how electronics work: https://m.youtube.com/@BranchEducation I guarantee that all of the recommended channels have fresh insights rather than stale regurgitation of mainstream knowledge. Btw, There was a great thread on YouTube channels recommendations here. Just look that up in the forum's search bar! I discovered a few gems this way

Leo's speaking skills hooked me right away. No filler words or edits in a two hour long video? I couldn't believe it was possible. It made me explore Leo's channel more. As for recording myself, I also used to have an absurd number of takes. Why used to? Because I got so so upset in the moment that I straight up quit trying to record anything and haven't made a single video ever since. It's, no joke, one of the scariest things in life for me. I'm not giving up, though. I should try filming something again soon. Everybody says it gets easier with practice. Do you record videos in your native language? If not, this sure adds a whole other layer.

I love both the self-aware and ignorant-ass sides of rap. The first type is to experience the state of awe of the art. Some original rhyme schemes, fresh flows, and unexpected metaphors give me more dopamine than any other art form. My favorite rappers from this camp are J. Cole, Kendrick, Griselda, Freddie Gibbs, and etc. When it comes to ignorant-ass rap, I listen to it to get hyped, inspired or motivated. In other words, this type of rap is for a different kind of dopamine lol. In this category, I like such rappers as Dave East, lil baby, or Wacotron. You like you some bars too?

For leisure, I do freestyle rapping, philosophy discussions, and improv. That's the unusual stuff. Other than that, pretty normal: sports, video games, reading

It's almost like you should treat this club as a place to find a few truly intelligent, open-minded, and self-aware people, and then invite only them for a discussion at a coffee shop.
-
Absolutely check it out... BUT I'm running a branch of this club in Bangkok, and while I've had some of the most scintillating discussions there, many of the people who come still aren't as open-minded as you'd probably hope. There's a good chance you'll end up being questioned or ridiculed by materialists using "rationality" to prove you wrong: that objective reality does exist or that psychedelics just cause hallucinations. Last time, things got a tad heated because I chose the topic "Left vs. Right." We were supposed to be discussing the fundamental qualities and dynamics of the two. I dare you to guess what actually happened... I also feel like some older men dismiss my points just because I'm young. This post isn't meant to discourage you from joining the club in your city. It's 100% worth it, and you'll definitely meet plenty of amazing, intelligent, nonjudgmental people (certainly more than in all other places I know). I'm just surprised someone mentioned the club on this forum, and I figured I'd vent my frustration a little. π

What are you gonna teach? I'm curious because I consider starting to make educational content myself

Check out Josh Lyon's Sales on YouTube. The least corrupted sales coach I've seen. My man leverages self-actualization in sales. Uses truth, not manipulation as a tool. He was the one who made me fall in love with sales for real as I stopped viewing them as manipulation.

At this stage in life, it's Bangkok for me. Anyone, wether you're living here or just coming by, hit me up! I'd love to see you at my philosophy club
-
Okay, I hope everyone had a good laugh π Now, let's not turn this thread into one big joke

Leo, it's truly great that you finally decided to expand your business through reels production, yet that's no way to do it. Here's the real plan: 1. Use a proper video title "I experienced God. UPD: it's NOT what you think π±" 2. Test out different thumbnails Which facial expression of yours generates more clicks? Is there a way to somehow include boobs? 3. Come up with more engaging videos ideas "The first one to AWAKEN wins $10,000! WENT WRONG" 4. You need to start streaming "Ayo, chat! It's infinite, chat!" 5. Provide some offline entertainment as well Fight Professor Dave at a UFC event in Vegas 6. Expand your product line Name your new crypto TRUTH. "Because TRUTH has the HIGHEST VALUE (Not finical advice)" Another monetization tactic could be collaborating with Logan Paul to launch "PRIME Consciousness (DISCLAIMER: Consuming 5-MeO-DMT may result in insanity. Not recommended for kids under 12)" You're welcome π

Alright. What's the concern, though? Am I not allowed to make friends? It's cool if I'm not. I'll be lone wolf then

Standing desk! To tell you the truth, I haven't actually used one myself β I just got it delivered today. I expect it to be a life-changing purchase. There's also this under-desk treadmill I'm considering getting as an add-on. Just imagine feeling as creative and relaxed as you do on a walk! P.S. You're the first Russian-speaking Actualized.org user I've ever had a chance to come across. I'd be excited to chat with you sometime. Feel free to find me and text me on IG: questioning_mark
