One of Jesus's teachings is "Seek and you shall find". What does this refer to? In reality when I seek for an object external to me I only increase my chances of finding, but those may still be very low. For example seeking money or a substance. The way Jesus put it is like you will find 100% of the time, obviously false. So what is that thing Jesus refers to when saying "Seek and you shall find" or "Ask and you shall receive". Seeking and asking only increase the odds, but doesn't mean you will find/receive. If he means the true self, then shouldn't it be phrased as "Seek yourself and you shall find", since obviously this motto doesnt apply to objects? However there's problems with this as well since the self cannot be found, as it is the one looking. Is it just a buncha lies?

You are not alone, I also have a similar story, with less money involved, but since I've never had more than 10k in my bank, for me it is huge money. So I helped a "friend" out, he owes me 1500, another one owes me 500 and now I'm broke. The one with 500 still says he will pay back, but I have strong doubts. The other one doesn't return my calls and is pretty much a lost cause. Moral of the story - don't trust humans.

To meditate on music, you need to listen to music while meditating. To contemplate on musuc, you need to listen to music and contemplate it (perhaps about it's existence and meaning) . To meditate on silence means withdrawing attention from sounds and placing attention on itself. Peace bro

Being spiritual means being yourself. Being yourself means being spiritual. The true self is what spirituality stems from, being yourself means you are your true self.

Have you seen a gray one? I used to have forum avatars of dots, because I was fascinated with them. I believe it's one of the more accurate mirror images of the True self / consciousness / that which cannot be seen.

Consciousness wants to see how much it can live through and overcome.

Please do a body-dwelling meditation in which you become aware of the sensations of your body parts. This practice, coupled with the practice of deep breath and breath awareness make the mind silent. That's when you cannot experience suffering. If you keep doing it and keep returning to the sensations / breath after your mind starts to wander, eventually you will become enlightened. It's simple, because you have all you need for that practice always right here right now. And you can use it to calm yourself down and experience that bliss we are talking about. It's about focusing your attention more on your life and not so much on your life situation. In the end it's all a big dream, so it only matters while the dream is happening. Enjoying yourself in the now through these meditations drastically reduces suffering. You can enjoy yourself in the now though many things, but what makes meditation special is that you don't need anything external to do it. It's the answer.

Yet if you answer 1+1=3 in an IQ test, your score would be EXTREMELY low. Also if you're saying 1+1=3 you can't really talk about high and low IQ, because high and low would be the same value. Differentiating between high and low is a privilige to those who follow proper maths rules.

IQ is about logical intelligence, so incorrect Also it Makes no sense. This is like saying that you have 3 legs and 3 hands. Obviously incorrect. You can say anything is deep, but that doesnt make it correct. You need to be extremely right brained to make such statements and observations. Being right brain dominant is not much better than being left dominant. The idea is to dwell in the middle and get the best of both worlds.
