  1. @Natasha Tori Maru It's OK, probably best that it disappeared anyway. I'm doing absolutely fucking terrible. I drink too much, I'm a self absorbed prick, and I can't get a girlfriend 🙂
  2. Thanks. How are you Natasha?
  3. What I have found....and it's only MY way, and other people may do things differently...but, my way is letting go of your life, like Jesus says, which means focusing on God, because you must find God and then everything else will be added. That's what the Bible says. So then you are free. Also, in my experience, using substances as a reward is always better than using them as a method to escape from reality. So get something done, be productive, then reward yourself. Not ideal, because complete abstinence would be ideal, but this is the best method I have found - get something done, then reward yourself.
  4. I stilled my mind so much that I was in an ego-less state, but this prevented me from getting anything done. We need an ego to get shit done.
  5. This is very true. Everyone has a model of existence in their mind. Direct experience is Truth, yet relative truth cannot be thrown by the wayside. If you were living without a model of reality you would go mad. To live without a mind is not advisable. I tried it, and it led to unhappiness.
  6. If you take a piano, and write a song backwards, then beethoven was born on Mars. Now if you take the same piano and do a shite, then pianos don't exist. That's why God is and always was a Mormon.
  7. We are all looking at this forum with different perspectives. So, nobody actually knows what is going on. People's idea of hierarchy or anything like that is entirely subjective. Everyone thinks they are the main character. That's what's funny. Hahaha
  8. The sky can't be blue without an eye perceiving, and a brain interpreting it as blue. That explanation only scratches the surface.
  9. @Natasha Tori Maru it was the soul of jimi hendrix that created the music. Not the guitar he used.
  10. @Natasha Tori Maru Well I would never spend that much on a sound system, but yes, I enjoy music Just started getting into music production with a small home set-up. I don't think we need to spend a lot on music equipment to create something special. I've been enjoying cooking recently, and I think that creating a song is similar to cooking, it's just about finding the right ingredients.
  11. @Natasha Tori Maru Do you get much from music? Some people are not affected much by music. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the songs. Yeah, I know Judith is deep and heavy, but that's why I like it so much. The bit where Maynard sings "did it all for yooooooooooouuu", and then the other singers come in on the same note, is epic.
  12. I have two songs for you to listen to. They are both powerful in their own right. I want you to listen to both of them with an open heart, and whilst you listen, allow yourself to be present and be honest about how the song makes you feel. Then come back, and tell me what you think of each song, and we will have a conversation about the deeper intricacies of each song. Each song is about Jesus, but with opposing viewpoints. I think it's funny, because I'm sounding like an R.E. teacher, and I always hated R.E. teachers. But, anyway the two songs are "Judith" by A Perfect Circle, And "That's Who I Praise", by Brandon Lake. Thankyou for your time.
  13. @Natasha Tori Maru aren't we all. Peace and love. ✌️❤️
