  1. Me too. Try reframing surrender from a form of punishment to a form of acceptance.
  2. This is where AI will have a major role in the future. Might as well leave all the logical stuff for the AI to handle.
  3. Perhaps move to the Philippines then.
  4. @mostly harmless people come here from all parts of the world. So you can expect different levels of personal development. We aren’t a university here, and trust me, they have a bunch of confirmation bias as well, if not worse.
  5. It’s amazing how all the good stuff is expensive and takes work to get… almost like by design
  6. Of course. You and I created each other.
  7. It’s amazing how completely different two peoples’ views can be. I don’t notice the shoes or the pedicure at all unless she explicitly mentions it.
  8. How would you know what actually suits you or not if you don’t actually try something? Anything?
  9. It’s good that you don’t agree with Leo 100%. That would turn you into an Actualized Rat.
  10. Y’all may find it interesting that the Philippines is the “only country in the world" where divorce is illegal. I had an aunt, despite moving to America from the Philippines, who was clearly in an abusive relationship. She met her husband in America. Despite this, nobody in my family did diddly-squat about the abuse. Why? Because marriage is sacred and you are to respect it like a sheep. Culture plays a significant role in how you handle your relationships. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce_in_the_Philippines
  11. @StarStruck do you have trouble surrendering on psychedelics or while sober?
  12. @Romer02 notice how your mind assigns strong meaning to your experience. Instead of assigning a judgement towards your experience, gently start to notice how you are creating the entirety of experience itself.
  13. And dying doesn’t necessarily mean physical death. I have heightened sensitivity to abandonment. Could be ghosts. I’ve heard some weird shit in my house as well, haha..
  14. There is some truth to that, actually… https://www.womansday.com/life/news/a57748/bald-men-study/ “Bald Men Are More Intelligent, Successful, and Masculine, Says Science” ”And they're more attractive too, it seems.”
  15. @Buck Edwards Damn, that’s some crazy survival skills. My respect for cats has gone up
  16. That, of course, depends on what one considers “most useful”. If their goal is to defend or amplify their academic accomplishments and worldview biases, then the content will actually be an attack on them. Not at all useful. Just show them this clip example. They will immediately run for the hills:
  17. I’ve been there. Give it time and you’ll be fine.
  18. It’s all a cosmic joke.
