  1. Meditate not because it is right or wrong, but because you genuinely enjoy it.
  2. Do I have free will to decide if I should love it or not? Lemme email Peter Ralson and ask him.
  3. I’ve noticed that free will, solipsism, awakening, and Peter Ralston are all juicy topics on this forum. I wonder what they all have in common?
  4. Interesting, I’ve never heard of the term “entheogens” before. Technically, ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic. But really, it depends on how it is used. The US had a secret program and used LSD to see if it would be a useful tool for mind control and torture.
  5. What is your definition of psychedelic effect?
  6. Like how I can’t know why I am falling in love with my best friend. Knowing why would spoil the entire illusion.
  7. I think I got a headache, and I did not choose to have one.
  8. Using masturbation and sex as a way to escape deeper connection with yourself is the problem.
  9. Will my next orgasm be in 10 hours? 10 days? 1 minute? Certainly not the last, but possibly the formers.
  10. Read about ERP therapy. Sounds like it resonates with you.
  11. Like how humans fly from the US to Europe, but not walk it. Stop trying to be something you’re not is a good start. Drop the sober frame and psychedelic frame.
  12. You have to be careful with weed, as it builds up tolerance in your system rapidly. You can take it regularly, but make sure to take breaks here and there and adjust your dose accordingly, based on your own unique connection to it.
  13. What even is the most awake state? You can reach for any kind of state, but you cannot hold onto it. There would still be someone or something that reached for such a state and needs to retain it. God, being utterly complete and whole, is not a specific state of consciousness. It’s any and all states or possibilities. Even the state of being a specific state of consciousness. Or being incomplete and separate. Eat my shorts! So how could being ______________________ consciousness (fill in the blank with your favorite identity… enlightened, non-dual, awake, alien, cartoon wolf, SpongeBob, solipsistic, etc.) possibly be the only one, complete state that is valid? Love = God = Truth = Reality is, no matter how awake. tl;dr To reach God implies that God was not God to begin with.
  14. Let’s be honest: anyone can be Awake if you believe it hard enough. Donald Trump’s hardcore followers are 100% convinced that he is Awake.
  15. I’ve come to realize that I am mentally ill from current society’s point of view. No need to sweat. I’m just way ahead of the times and I’m no longer trying to compete with slowpokes.
  16. @OBEler are you into lucid dreaming? Sounds like it would be right up your alley.
  17. An important part of being a visionary is fully embracing being different. Shedding old belief systems and not being afraid of experimentation. This is super challenging for me, as I was brought up in a very conservative environment, even though I’ve always intuited that I cannot fit into any particular system or way of thinking. Brainwashing is truly a bitch. These past few years I finally said fuck it and I’ve slowly been leaving my family, old friends, religion, educational system… ALL of it, and recontextualizing what all of those even are. This is easier said than done. It’s actually easier to stay in those systems and survive in that way, go ahead and take your antidepressants and pretend to be happy. The cost if your ability to live authentically will be severely limited.
  18. What I said may come off as religious (i.e. the whole “thoughts and prayers” mentality). But look at even that response with more nuance. Are you praying or wishing for some conflict to unfold in a way that fits your paradigm of what’s right and wrong? Notice the major bias in that response as well, even if on the surface it looks innocent. To observe a situation more objectively is to accept even the aspects of conflict that you downright disagree with.
  19. Conflict benefits the whole in the long-term, but it is impossible to see that while in the middle of conflict. Just observe a single tree and imagine how much conflict it has gone through to get to where it is now. Judging a tree harshly while it’s currently being exposed to a ravaging storm is an immature response to conflict.
  20. The proof is in the pudding. God is in the proof, the pudding; Love.
  21. Matcha tea. I think it works synergistically with high CBD and a bit of THC. Be mindful that CBD can greatly enhance the effects of caffeine, so start with half a scoop of matcha powder.
