Your foundation is your physical health. Your body is calling for your attention and care. Making getting as healthy as possible your "one thing" (it's the one thing that will make everything else easier). Notice that holistic health includes but is not limited to: Mindset/psychology (don't skip this!) - question harmful beliefs (eg: "my parents are disappointed", "I'm not a worthy friend"). I suggest doing Byron Katie's "The Work", as well as the Sedona Method to release harmful thoughts and emotions. Learn to manage your thoughts and emotions so they don't stop you from your mission of getting healthy. Cultivate a daily meditative practice where you do stuff like Byron Katie's "The Work" and start to find happiness that transcends your life conditions. Proper sleep << read a book on this Proper nutrition << check out "The Wahls Protocal" (woman heals herself from MS through functional medicine), and other books on nutrition Daily movement << follow your enthusiasm, find an activity that pulls your interest. Can also be a great way to connect socially with people. Reading books on the above topics will inspire and motivate you to heal. Once you have some momentum with regards to your health, you can start tackling your other problems (all of which are fixable, and will lead to tremendous growth if you tackle them vs letting them dominate you). Examples: Got social anxiety? Join Toastmasters, and look up "Authentic Relating" (context: I used to have very intense social anxiety, which I overcame) Sending Love!

I like the idea that values are holographic - meaning that every value, properly realized, contains all other values For example, you cannot honour family at the highest level if you do not care about your health, balance, truth, and love. And if you say you honour truth and love, but mistreat and lie to your family you cannot say you value truth. Same with romantic love or anything else - the highest realization of any value requires caring deeply about all other values. I guess it's true that in order for values to reveal their holographic nature you have to want to realize the deepest, highest expression of any given value. Which could be construed as valuing the "truest" version of that value, which I guess supports the video's thesis. I guess it's also true that someone who deeply values family and ends up with 8 kids as a result is less likely to awaken. But you could make the argument that if this person really valued family they wouldn't let their time be totally dominated by their family (so they'd maybe have fewer kids or get support systems in place to free up their time), because you can't be the best possible parent if all your time is going to parenting and there is no balance.

@Razard86 In this vid you shared Leo uses the analogy of a sponge, with the holes in the sponge being bubbles of "beingness", and the yellow material of the sponge being consciousness My question with regards to solipsism is - is there one bubble of experience, or multiple bubbles? -

@Leo Gura To communicate the idea of solipsism you teach that you (Leo) are just a dream character in my dream. But I'm assuming that your awakening was the realization that I am a character in your dream, not the other way around. According to your understanding, has God/consciousness experienced only Leo's life? Or only Erik's? Or both? Did you see that multiple lives are experienced simultaneously by one Godhead, or does god experience stuff only sequentially/chronologically? My understanding is that God is outside of time and space (not to mention infinite), so not sure why it would be limited to one experience at a time. What did you see? -

@Leo Gura Thank you for your replies I guess that with more consciousness comes greater acceptance of all of life, including your mind and experience. Then with acceptance, patterns of resistance (negativity) naturally fade. Also you become more sensitive to dysfunctional thought patterns, and less likely to get sucked into them. Maybe what I am asking here is: are you expecting to be able to raise your consciousness to a point where your mind mostly bathes in a celebration of life? And is mostly free from compulsive fear and survival-based rumination? Or are you already there? Was God wrong to say that one of the factors that separate masters from normies is mastery over their mind? Maybe mastery over the mind looks more like high awareness of one's thoughts and high acceptance of them (as a first step, at least), rather than forcibly reprogramming them to be "positive". Sounds like you have a high enjoyment of consciousness through the use of your mind. Maybe that's the best way for you to celebrate and cultivate life/consciousness at this point. BTW do you still recommend "industrial-grade" meditation to ppl? Or would you advocate a more relaxed approach? Why not? Why can't you now just work on spirituality and be happy? Is it because of all the social/cultural friction related to the lack of understanding of spirituality? Or what weighs heavier on you now compared to in times of ignorance? The times when I've been very focused on business and other "orange" activities, I get into a pretty strong chasing mindset. When it's all you know I guess it can feel like happiness, but in my experience, there is a certain amount of craving, frustration, and feelings of lack that comes with it. Is it possible your remembering self is painting a rosier picture of ignorance than was the real experience? BTW, have you had any experiences with, or do you have any thoughts about "Christ consciousness"? -
Hey @Leo Gura, Thank you for your work A few questions for you: Do you feel it will be possible for you personally to arise in mastery over your mind (basically training your mind to only think high-vibe, intentional thoughts) without becoming a full-time monk? In Conversations with God, God says that it is possible, and that it's not as hard as we might think. Is this a goal for you? You mentioned that meditation doesn't bring you happiness but you still do it. Do you do it because you feel like it raises your consciousness? Aren't there other ways besides meditation that will raise your consciousness/awareness? You also mentioned that some of your happiest times were on solo meditation retreats. What are you doing on those retreats if not meditating? Also what type of meditation are you doing these days? How many hours/week on average? I thought meditation was just about basking in God's love Francis Lucille teaches that we should only meditate and do spiritual work if it's the thing we most want to do. What do you think about that? What do you think about Joe Dispenza - have you been on retreat with him? You said in some ways you were happier before you got into spiritual work. But you also said that your ability to love consciousness and beingness makes you a lot happier than most ppl (despite your health issues). Sounds like it's been a trade-off between doing less of what you really enjoy/love for more understanding and peak experiences. But now you have a greater ability to enjoy even the things you don't like (like meditation haha)??
