  1. @Edvardas It doesn't matter, because all you could access is always your life right NOW which means to you everything that could be. -joNi-
  2. @Bird Larry Knowledge is remembering things which means thoughts you could access easily in different times and using them to produce wanted results. -joNi-
  3. @MrTouchdown If denying past in your post means denying that it happened, then what you said doesn't prove it in any direction, because past is just good concept that you could think in order to improve your life and make it to something you could accept more easily therefore be more happy. If you mean accepting past in relative level as accepting things that seemingly happened to you then it doesn't really matter if you accept them in percpecive of changing behaviour. In perspective of curing trauma accepting past is must.
  4. @funkychunkymonkey That is actually very good to practice base level consciousness to be in good mindfulness state around a clock. Doing so makes you wise in a sense that you're always in a mode that you can make great decisions that help you in your life. It also erases all traumas and makes you mentally and emotionally stable person. If you're in very conscious state in daily basis it'll not drop too low and you are always ready to do more meditation and psychedelics to up it to higher levels. It was not in a question, but you should also contemplate things when you're in high conscious state in order to have cool insights to the nature of life and/ or your life in positive way. It'll be so much easier to consciously think about things when all random thoughts aren't flying around the mind. It's great circle, because contemplation practically makes your life easier so you have time, energy and motivation to relax your mind and body and relaxing puts you in great state to contemplate some more. With love -joNi-
  5. @Someone here I guess we're close enough and your perspective is interesting, but I just told my own take of what I've experienced and what I live 24/7. As I said the more you focus on one aspect of reality the less it makes sense if you'd erase all assumtions from it. It's like no choice of word can describe the perception, sensation or the nothingness so it'd feel like the real thing anyway close. That's what perspective, way of looking the thing, is. Verbalizing what you experience is very hard if all in the communication don't have good self-expression skills and idea of how the another one communicates.
  6. @Someone here Now you phrased in a way I could agree easily on what is said. The place where "sense of self" existed is occupied with indefienable sensations. Those sensations don't belong to anyone and are universe itself. The more you try to make sense of the sensations that exist in present moment the less you know about them after all assumtions and weird thoughts have gone away.
  7. @Someone here I don't have sense of self in my daily basis, but I just put grey shoes with N logo every morning. The one who haven't achieved this state will always rationalize benefits of living in harmony with your ego so you know whose shoes to put, but that's ridiculous when you have experience without sense of self first time. It takes reasonable amount of meditation with correct technique + mindfulness during the day to get to it and it is kind of personal anyways.
  8. @Someone here All sense of self and ego either big or small is more clinging, that's what I'm saying. Clinging to be some way over another. When you don't have any clue of I, you win. Living in harmony with ego sounds just afraid ego's last survival mechanism, because doing so keeps the the fun thought, thought of I, alive. All what I said I've seen thanks to meditation and that proves you can see it too.
  9. @Someone here I'd add that the aim is to be so conscious of the moment that there is no room for thoughts to come. Everyone can test that what I said is true for themself and not blindly believe in it. Also because gap, sense of self and indefinable sensations are perceived they can't be you and that's more advanced step to the technique. Third step is to see that the sense of self dissapears when you become more and more conscious so you see clearly that you is another thought. -joNi-
  10. @Ima Freeman Even if you had control you'd do the most optimal thing which you think at the moment and that's based on information from outside + your analysis. That being said no control doesn't mean that you're stuck in your past, but it means that everything is so smooth when you see it happening right NOW that saying you've no control is the best descriprion for it. No control means that you can't make any mistakes in a sense so just step back and enjoy the ride. -joNi-
  11. @Zedman Check the assumption that allowing yourself to feel fear leads that to happen by allowing it once or twice. If you keep assuming after assumption then at some point you're so locked that you'll have scary "psychosis". Even what I just said is more thoughts and you should stop believing to these if you want to repair yourself. Running away fear makes it just more real in your mind, because you think that you need to defend. So face the fear or the fear eats your face. -joNi-
  12. @Holygrail Stage yellow is seeing that it's own perspective is perspective and all perspectives are equal in absolute sense, but still they include different amount of potentiality to be useful. That being said I wouldn't take seeing other perspectives as rule to stage yellow, but as development towards it. Everything is about how you define the thing and I'd do it that way and I recognize everything what I just said as a perspecive. -joNi-
  13. @Ima Freeman Everything is automatical, you're right. However, because you don't have sense of control nor sense of lack of control you have and don't have control simultaneously. You want control only, because you don't trust that universe knows better what you want than your limited ego. Because you never had control nothing changes and you keep doing what you wanted. It's paradox like everything else. I am living 24/7 on state I can recognize being on automatical process and it is awesome when you let go the fear and negative assumptions of it. -joNi-
  14. @WokeBloke It doesn't change the fact that you're always alone with your experience whatsover. That's what solipsism is all about. So in your dream there couldn't be other, because the main premise is that the other is something which is not perceived right now therefore it is not in your dream. -joNi-
  15. The more mature you're the less there is to think about and that's because everything is so clear to you that your mind becomes silent. So there is downside to maturing per se; you can't have cool insights to any subject of life same pace as you used to have and when something comes up it usually is not too deep. It's like mining diamonds and the more you do the less there is to find and smaller in size are the next possible discoveries. It just is that the more deeply you understand something the more shallowness you'll see in it. At this point many could say that nah you get it completely backwards, but just continue reading. Deepness of subject isn't the same than the amount of content, but more a like potentiality to give intellectual insight or understanding. So seeing endless content can blind many newbies, but those are just things you could memorize and memorizing isn't understanding, sorry. Understanding means that you can come up with new insights using solely your previous insights. Understanding also means that you are able to talk around the subject and aren't locked in just remembering some fact or two. So being lost in life can be funny in a sense that you can theorize about things a lot and think about devilness of others and wonder about everything. "Normies" have always some kind of drama going on and they think about social situations, friendships and relationships like a Sherlock Holmes; "How he could say something like that", "She doesn't deserve him" etc. When you are very conscious you just see that everyone is acting out of love and they do the best possible action based on their inner rationalization. Same logic goes to friendships. Either you don't understand each other and there is almost nothing deep to talk about or you understand each other so well that there is nothing deep to talk about. Even this whole post doesn't have any use if you - the precious reader - don't get insights from it or find someone who thinks exactly like you which actually just doesn't help anyone ?. That's why I like to teach people stuff, because those are the only interactions where there is something deep to be shared. To whoever resonated with what I just said - you're so deep in this rabbit hole that it is almost scary. -joNi-
  16. @AndylizedAAY Great questions, bro! All religions point towards the same thing and that's why all deep conversations may sound like it'd be a part of religion. Religions came when someone had very profound experiences and wanted to teach it. Of course ego misunderstood the teachings and that's why all religions sound kind of the same than the spirituality, but not quite. Religion = blind following like a sheep. If you'd read holy books in intention to find spiritual messages I'd argue that you'd find useful insights. Showing your spiritual side to people around you is very powerful practice alone, because it boosts your confidence and you see that it is okay to be yourself as you are. If I'd be you I'd start meditating front of different people and if they'd ask something about it I'd just explain the meaning of meditation and why you like it. True friends will accept you after some processing so you shouldn't stress too much about will others accept you as you truly are. Only your direct experience can show you if there is actually most spiritual time of day for you and that's why you can't ask that question from others. In the most basic level early at morning could be good time, because you were just sleeping and that's the time you have the least amount of things to think about. Evening could be good, because you have done all your work and night, because no one is there to interrupt you. On the other hand meditation during the day may reset your thought patterns so you could function better for example in work or studying. -joNi-
  17. Many people on this forum have wrong picture of what mental masturbation is; It is not same as healthy contemplation and coming up with understanding or useful ideas. Mental masturbation is theorizing about something which is possible to confirm through direct experience including all realizations like no-self, no-gravity and no-past nor future. All discussions about aliens or dmt entities are useless if you don't ever face them and if you would face them then discussion are they real would lose its meaning. What Leo and moderators are trying to tell you when they warn you and lock your thread for mental masturbation is that your contemplation has too many assumptions or the logic you are using is not good enough to get right conclusions. The thing that isn't told to you is that you are too closed minded and not logical enough to come up with insights by yourself and that's why you should first watch high quality videos or do some spiritual practices so you have proper ground so you don't build shaky worldview. It's another way to inform you that you are getting lost in your thoughts and none of that is making any sense. Every great system is built so it allows itself to grow and if you want to participate on that then treat this forum like a school. Don't argue too much against the teaching but preferably try to see why the other one has the perspective that (s)he currently lives with. That is called as builing bridges between different perspectives and that helps to avoid fights and also it heightens your own perspective. Lastly, if you want to learn good contemplation then pick some word from Leo´s videos and try to define it and then watch the video and see if your conclusion is matching with it. Also ask other forum members that is that what you got right. Because we are doing this work together why wouldn't we try to grow our consciousness cooperatively. So if possible try to post something that you haven't seen on the forum before or answer to already existing thread. Game is not called as who was right first, but who ends up being right. Thanks for reading. -joNi-
  18. @RMQualtrough The point was that everything is possible, but how unlikely something is, is another discussion. There is nothing stopping you from having profound realizations and mystical experiences just from listening to someone, but my bet is that this didn't happen in this specific case taking consideration his other posts and way of talking overall. What may happen to someone may not happen to other, but that doesn't prove that it couldn't happen for anyone. As I said in the past I felt like I'd start tripping from nowhere after my first psychedelic trip and that's how powerful your mind can be. That didn't happen, because I just ignored it, but would that have happened I don't know. Certainly it is possible tho. When you clear your mind from all assumptions and beliefs your mind becomes more and more receptive to new experiences with less effort. Also see that assumption is not black and white switch, but more like a knob which has different values. That being said I guess you've work to do.
  19. @RMQualtrough I've to defend this particular case, because who said that awakening cannot be produced by radical shift in how you think about world. Still if I'd need to guess I'm 99,9 % that this didn't happen and that specific person had profound understanding to the nature of god and just misinterprets that as an awakening. As I spoke about bridges, that should be the goal and not call another one as evil, because that creates separation and thing you can't love. This is a nasty trap to always need an enemy that you can laugh to, but at the same time I understand that this produces sense of togetherness. I've falled in this trap many times, but the more I studied spiral dynamics and other perspectives less I judged people. I saw that one thing I really like to do is to understand others and the more absurd that perspective sounds to me the more I know I've to learn.
  20. @Ya know Right and wrong are relative to what you want to achieve and if happy life is what you aim for then taking light side code is better. -joNi-
  21. @Vincent S Oh, anytime bro! It's better to see communication like you both try to find out why you two have different perspectives and why one or both you don't see the perspective of another one. So it's collaboration work to build bridge between worldviews and trying to make it work to both directions. Helping is just that someone wanted to join in to solve another one's puzzle in his/her life or that they invited you beforehand. Letting yourself to be helped is another skill to be learnt as well.
  22. @Vincent S @Proserpina Yeah, if you parrot and don't think for yourself you'll never understand thing so clearly as it could and that leaves possibility for misunderstanding and the source being wrong. Still thinking only for yourself can be problematic, because you can come up with "insight", but all insights you have will feel correct from your own perspective and that's the difficulty of whole thing. Also Proserpina if what you do feels right for you then continue it. All I was just trying to say was that if you want to speed up your progress then not stepping to all traps can be benefical. Example of wrong insight (conclusion) A: Evilness is doing morally wrongly (that's wrong, btw). B: Many people do things morally wrongly. C: There are many evils. Point of this analogy was to show that even if that There are many evils insight feels correct to you it isn't still correct conclusion, because whole contemplation failed at the start. That's why you need to start contemplation from right insights or otherwise you build house of cards which will collapse sooner or later. So it's question of do you want to build many house of cards or couple of made from good pieces. So all that is needed is meta-awarness that your perspective is also a perspective.
  23. @bambi Just contemplate the question I previously gave to you. Leo couldn't give any simpler answer and you shouldn't use him as your authority anyways. -joNi-
  24. @bambi I felt like I would start tripping from nothing after my first trip not too long ago. Could or couldn't I have done that only jesus knows the answer for that . You are so powerful already that you can up your base level and funny thing is that all you need to do is to sit and idle. The main question I am going to let you to contemplate. What if god can do whatever it likes, but limited ego - you - just dissagrees on what is the best thing to do? -joNi-
