and people are allowed to be disrespectful towards whites? do you know that asians make the most money as a "race" in the u.s. so it is okay for blacks and whites in the u.s. to be insensitive towards asians because it's "punching up"? according to google: Race and EthnicityAloneAlone or in Combination with Other Races CodeMedian household income (US$) Asian Americans 85,897 White Americans 65,777 African Americans 43,892 nah not buying it it's crap either way -
but saddam and gaddafi are also all about money and power or nah?

i don't want to be a party pooper but am i the only one who finds the term "karen" problematic? imo it's like calling all loud annoying black woman "laqueesha" or something like that or an asian woman any generic asian name. i mean i know that it's not only used for white women but it probably is 99% of the time and it's a real name that many women have, so not really fair for them either -

the ones who did it thought it was a good thing, whoever was behind it and for whichever reasons personally i'm not angry or sad about that particular thing but i also don't really have a dog in the fight because i don't live in the u.s. nor in the middle east. although i do think it's sad that the wars and conflict haven't stopped since then and made the world worse imo -
i'm really sorry to hear that and hope that it's just a temporary thing. try to get enough rest also try not to think of cancer etc. just see what your gynecologist says
-
so i've skimmed through your "venting" topic in the mental health section. and i'm not trying to be hard on you or anything, i just wish people were less divisive ob both (or all) sides
-
so you can't even tell your mom the truth but you're venting your anger on the internet against strangers, ok got it. well it makes sense and i don't mean it in a very derogatory way.
-
well there are also things which i'm against and annoyed by. but many of those things are probably not objectively bad, they're just my issues that i need to work through. why even really have an opinion on ivermectin? people want to take it and not take the vaccine? cool who cares, you and your loved ones are vaccinated anyways.
-
maybe that's your problem. have you ever thought about that?

yea and you call your child dumb and like videos of the last memes before they died? you surely understand love -

also don't call a woman/girl flat because all this plastic surgery is also not what's up -

so it does make you happy? i just find it interesting, such name calling, division etc. on a forum of a guy who says love is the highest good etc. now you could say well love is to be tough on people who are critical of the vaccine and the government, so that they take the vaccine so that everybody is better off. but i wouldn't buy that. is posting videos of protests seen as bannable offense? -
i don't know how much you can blame capitalism for that. but it seems that people need a purpose.

i think this is more a tribal thing. you're now in the tribe of the vaccinated people. and you love to fight against the unvaccinated people and call them dumb etc. it gives your life a purpose well have fun. i'm not scared of covid or the vaccine but i'm a bit scared of the division in society -

does it make you happy that these people have died? -
PurpleTree replied to Hardkill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
really? i think it's very disappointing to see the forum members here at each others throat over the vaccine. calling people dumb and threatening to ban, i thought better of this forum and the "spiritual community" -
So he basically says that empaths should focus on separation rather than oneness in his short meditation. Because they're already very open in some ways. Any thoughts on that?

PurpleTree has some non-sensical, kind of obsessive thought loops sometimes for example about silly stuff like a statement i made or want to make about a text i wrote or want to write etc. and those thoughts can loop for minutes or even a lot longer. So two days ago i had one of those thought loops and then tried to be as aware as possible of that thought. I thought that particular thought in a very aware state and thought it very slowly deliberately, usually those thoughts just keep looping very fast in the mind. It worked and the thought kind of vanished. So in that instance it worked but maybe it was just luck, i'll keep experimenting.

Have you read a or some "spiritual" books? Do you meditate sometimes? Suffering and an interest in the universe is what makes me semi-serious about this work and keeps me coming back. Laziness, fatigue, anxiety etc. is what keeps from getting all the way in.
-
are you saying people should climb/fix those material/relationship/career etc. steps before they do consciousness work. or are you saying they can do it simultaneously, it's just important to not forget about those other "steps" while working on consciousness etc.?

No it's not. Maybe you need to get into nature more. -
yesterday got up, ate breakfast, watched youtube and entered the forum, did some meditation, went for a walk, got a call about some "bird spectacle in nature" so i went there and watched those birds, they were glorious btw., went home ate dinner, took another walk, watched youtube and streamed some show. i also take my moms dog for long walks sometimes, sometimes visit friends, sometimes jog etc.
