Breakingthewall replied to infiniteconsciousnes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah, we all add layers of fear and repression as we grow up, as we do so surrounded by fear and repression. now the job is to see it, understand it, unravel the knot. It is not easy, field work is often required. If we don't do, our energetic patterns are going to be always unhealthy, and this can cause physical sickness -

Id say that for the first time in your adult life you have relaxed control over yourself. As children we add layers of control caused by fear, especially fear of rejection, until we go through life stiff and tense, repressed, without realizing it. without flowing, reaisting. It is incredible that we do not get sick after many years like this. what has happened to you is that for the first time you are free. -

Well, If humans wouldn't exist, the suffering of other beings would be quite moderate. most of their time they live in a state of happiness and fulfillment. when they get sick, or are eaten by other animals, they suffer a short time and die. instead humans suffer by default and cause suffering and destruction to everything they touch -

Yes of course, same as everyone, but I'm sure that you know it's not something easy that anyone could do at will. in fact, it is extremely difficult, more difficult than anything else. 99.9999% of people will never in their life even come close to a momentary opening, to a mystical experience. it is something extremely rare. What in your specific case is something that occurs spontaneously? ok, millions of circumstances since your birth, or before, have made that happen. if one of them had been different, it would not have happened. so what options are there? psychedelics work, they open the door to the absolute. then it closes. we are pioneers, no one had used psychedelics like this. in the time of ram dass and huxcley there was no 5meo. little nuance right? huge difference. We will see the result of this. what is obvious is that for many it is the only possible way of real openness and understanding. used with true intelligence and intuition we will see where it leads -

Man, this is a forum for people who want to go deep, serious spirituality. Why are you trying to turn this into something depressing? go to forchan or some place like that. I find it sad to see the drift of this forum, frustrated people trolling, people posting because are bored, each time lower level. -

Why you say that? Just a feeling? Because here we are to explain our assessments. Not just to expell our negativity and our bitterness dirtying conversations and denigrating everyone. That type of people is called toxic, and I would say that you are one. It is a kind of people that should be kept away -

@Squeekytoy it's sad to read you. When you joined here seems that you have some intelligence, something to give, but after the first layer, there is.... nothing, just a poor guy depressed without any understanding. Please, don't come here to play with the adults, it's not your place. -

Ok, if it's like that for you, I believe you, but let's see. For some time now you have been attacking any deviation from what you consider to be correct in spirituality, which is a very classical conception based on the Bahavad Gita and Buddhism, the need to transcend desire, absolute/relative duality, etc. and your attack is: you have not realized the absolute, and I do. You tell it to Leo, you tell it to me, in general to those who go deeper with psychedelics. I repeat what I told you before: you don't understand the psychedelic path. It is not about seeking peak experiences but about understanding what we are. you think that understanding is not necessary or valuable, that it is suffering, as in your case, that leads to the realization of the absolute. ok so maybe instead of using psychedelics i should volunteer for the war in yemen or marry someone with borderline disorder?. no, seriously, with psychedelics, when your intention is to really delve into reality, you realize the absolute. before, you have ridiculed an experience that I told a some time ago in which I did 5 meo 4 times in one day, and 3 were a horrible abyss empty of death, and the fourth, at 4 in the morning, it happened that the infinite opened and the absolute It manifested itself fully. hallelujah etc. You don't understand what this was, otherwise you wouldn't ridicule it. You have to have a more open mind and not assume that others are stupid or deceived. there are smart people here. Leo is sharp and alert to self-deception. I'm not a fool either, others aren't either. This is not easy, it is necessary to be very penetrating. Think that perhaps you have closed yourself off in your version of reality and are not open to understanding other ways. You say the same as others: psychedelics induce peak experiences but I don't know of any cases in which they lead to lasting changes. well, you know me, leo, others here who affirm that yes, they do. Do you think we lie or are deceived? It is your right, but it is frustrating if you repeated it over and over again, especially when it seems that no real attention has been paid to what is being said, but it seems that you have let yourself be carried away by an idea already formed from before. -

@Moksha thanks for sharing, you are very honest, how it has to be. if you allow me one more question... why this rejection of the psychedelic? Trust me, you don't understand. Is it maybe your ego getting strong? the psychedelic is a key left to dissolve the limits, to real awakening. you can't imagine what it is. reject it so firmly and even vehemently, without having tried it... think about it. What does this mean? many spiritual teachers do the same as you. Why that conservatism? -

The mind must be a certain way, at least for spirituality: free of any limitations. If not, you are going to fool yourself -

The "relative" is what existence is. Here, now, this. There is nothing else. The only relative thing is the interpretation, that's false, nothing. Silence your mind and see the movement, the direct experience. That is the absolute, and it's infinite depth. There is no phenomenal vs absolute. There is interpretation vs absolute, and even that, the interpretation is just another movement of the absolute. You are alone, here, now, for the eternity, and that's it. And it's perfection. This is not ego, it's direct understanding. -

I am not offended at all, but I perceive a certain distortion in you. Since you are sincere, I will be too. let's see, you say that you realize the absolute and that the absolute is immutable and pure love. ok, I understand that from the silence of the mind, without any obstacle, one realizes the joy of existing and the suffering disappears, since it is something that the ego creates. but tell me, how did you realize your infinite nature? Have you become absolute, infinite, encompassing everything? So, have you realized that everything is inside of you? Are you really aware of what death means? that the entire cosmos is in your mind and there is nothing else? that there is no "outside"? Have you really seen this without psychedelics, or have you read it and integrated it into your idiosyncrasy? Are you sure you're not fooling yourself? because it is extremely easy to delude yourself into thinking that you have realized things that if you are truly honest with yourself, you have conceptually integrated. Your stiffness makes me think that's the case Or maybe your mental suffering has been so great that you deny the mind as if it were something negative, in favor of silence, the only positive thing? both have their place. The mind is a great tool and must be used, but it has to trascend it's limitations, that's all. And please, don't tell me again: when you realize the absolute , you will see. It sounds like a defense. -

??yes, but first moksha must break his rejection and prejudice and try to really understand, reading what is said with an open mind, not with the intention of finding points that reaffirm his thesis. But seems impossible. I feel fear and rejection, need to be right and the other wrong, defense against the heretic ? -

Agree, but this guru can lie himself too. self-deception is the number one problem in this work -

You don't understand. psychedelics and especially 5 meo take you to a completely altered state of consciousness in which there is no perception/perceiver duality anymore. the psychedelic path begins with bad trips, where for example you experience the "horrible abyss", and you can also have unity trips, absolute love, "hallelujah". You don't make these trips to realize things and then add them to your mental baggage, but for the change itself, which makes your energetic body more plastic each time, and this happen very fast. What I said 1 month ago is obsolete now. you completely misinterpret what I say out of lack of understanding, since you avoid understanding. for you there is only relative/absolute, preferring the absolute for its character of happiness and rejecting the relative for its character of suffering. You are stuck in a duality of avoiding the "bad" in favor of the "good". the psychedelic path would make you see that there is no duality, that the relative is the absolute, and understand deeper how and why this experience is occurring, what you are. but since you prefer to stay in your place and avoid threats to your absolute happiness, it seems that you will never take that step. Anyway, if it makes you happy that the absolute shines through you and that's enough for you, perfect, but I insist: you don't understand the psychedelic path. you misjudge it A question: why not be open-minded? there is nothing to lose with it -

Because someone can be very bright and at the same time be wrong and say things that lead people to the wrong paths with no way out. people tend to idealize gurus for what they transmitting rather than for what they say, and that is dangerous. there are very skilled people capable of transmitting and empathizing. -
Breakingthewall replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
reality is absolute and infinite, and by the fact of being infinite it is all that is possible to be. therefore it is conscious, omnipotent and omniscient. God. God separates in two to love itself in a dance, reality in eternal movement. Separation is a means to deepen love in the bottomless well that reality is, but at the price of being isolated from itself, separated. this separation creates a feeling of lack. beings are never complete, they have a cycle of life and death, ying and yang. For a being to exist, another must die. in the case of humans, it is even more complicated because they are a hive entity with a collective mind that evolves driven by lack. the lack of love is his hallmark. -

I read that maybe he didn't exist, but he's like a legendary figure created to bring together fragments of wisdom from various masters. anyway, the book is very inspiring I think that true understanding is reality understanding itself. reality perfectly understand itself, but it has stop doing because it is immersed in a finite experience in which it is interacting with an apparent exterior. in order to do this, he transforms his infinite understanding into finite understanding. There are people in whom this transformation is completely solid, without fissures. others in which it has not been completely carried out and navigate between two waters. they need time to understand the finite because their mind is still open to the infinite. this normally produces suffering, but it can be directed towards full understanding. -
Breakingthewall replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
existence is desire. without desire there is nothing. reality is the infinite dancing with itself a dance of love in which it desire to love itself and deepen itself. Desire is positive when it is oriented towards love, and it is negative when it is oriented to avoid the lack of love. -

@Moksha Ramana Maharshi also said things like a cow achieved enlightenment through her mother, who also came out of the wheel of reincarnations when she died. -

it depends on the meaning you give it, for me knowing has a cumulative connotation and understanding qualitative, but maybe lao tse sees it the other way around Btw tao te King is a book where a person wrote his understandings about existence -

understanding is, for example, realizing that there are no limits between you and others, and that what you do to others you do to yourself. you might understand this right? how do you understand it? because someone has told you, or because you have come to that conclusion thinking? no, it is a direct understanding. then the logical mind structure, formule with concepts, separates the others/your, act, consequence, and then it loose it's reality, you don't understand it anymore. The real understanding comes from beyond the logical mind the logical mind can understand how a foot fits in a shoe of its size but not in a smaller one, but it cannot understand infinity, since it is limited, finite. the mind that understands everything is infinite, and is reality itself the conceptual mind is the same infinite mind but limited, to be able to handle the limited. what is limited is appearance, and so is the conceptual mind. It's the source of confusion -

The less than you know, the more that you understand. Until you don't know nothing, you couldn't understand everything.
