It is not easy to realize the shit that is in you. It goes with you everywhere and as it is always there, you don't even see it anymore. fear, vanity, all that must be completely let go. Are barriers that keep you inside -

I don't know if it's possible, I think not, we are human. Could you be perfectly happy if you have to spend the rest of your life isolated without talking to anyone? Imagine the kind of person who could. how would his mind be? Is that detachment possible? Nobody here is even 10% of something like that. -

Yes, i know that. The direct experience is existence and that is what I am, it becomes obvious at that moment, but here the problem arises, or both problems. First, within that experience there is an apparent self with a body and other apparent bodies. if I prick my body, a sensation of pain appears. if I puncture other bodies, no pain appears. this is the first trap. the second is that in this present moment things are coming up all the time. sensations, objects, changes, and I am not aware of producing all this, it is something alien to me. this is trap two. These two traps necessarily make you fall into duality, and that is why it is so difficult to get out of the trap. Right now I know all this and I have seen it clearly many times, but still, I am delusional, since it is designed very well for this purpose. I Know some tricks that i use to get out of the deception, that are drugs or meditation. I do because it's useful to minimize the suffering and because i like a lot the freedom that the now really is. -

Wait 200 years, then all humans will be fully awake and everything will be ruled and organized by an ai. although perhaps everything will become very boring and we will opt for a mass collective suicide -

I think the same. the game is a deception, but it must be played, that's what it's for. And it's very beautiful and challenging. But it's a enormous advantage for the player being able to step back at will and view the whole scene from the outside -

The thing is that when I am awake there are no others, but there is no me either. that is to say, the only thing that exists and can exist is the direct experience of this moment, but there is no experiencer, it is this, here and now eternally. the part that remains of the ego, which is always there in some extent, sees this with horror, since it can seem like a prison. You are trapped in eternal existence, with no possibility of escape. this disappears as soon as I realize that this present moment has no limits, it is of infinite depth. This produces a feeling of freedom and enormous joy. then the things that arise at this moment, such as people or the appearance of a self that is the center of the experience are seen as forms that are arising. nothing means anything, it is a dance that moves, that fluctuates, of beauty and harmony. no story makes any sense. It doesn't matter if they give you a sack of money or if they kill you, they are forms that arise. but you can't keep this up for long, since everything is done in such a way that it catches you in a plot thread. interacting with another person is what catches the most, since they are all projections. He quickly gets you into his storyline, and once you get into it, you're trapped. but since I have left the trap many times, well, after a short time another exit from the current of deception occurs, usually with a substance. As you said before, the awareness remains that there is no evil, that everything is you. but an indefinable you, the present moment -

If at night I go to a park, being alone, and I smoke two or three puffs of weed... the absolute present opens. obvious. Infinity. And everything appears like shapes that arise, the lie completely loses its power. also with any psychedelic in low dose, even meditating for 40 minutes. but as soon as I interact with another person, I am immersed in the dream of the past and the future. In any case, I believe that I have completely overcome the trauma by realizing that there is no exterior to me, it is all imagination, there is no evil. that line of reasoning you follow is accurate. if it's not that way, you never get over the trauma. you can put patches, but it remains. That is very important, with trauma life is hard. -

The trick is the appearance of a timeline, a life, a past, a future, important things like relationships or survival. Nothing is real, existence hasn't any meaning or sense, it's empty of all of that. It's just a dance, movement. -

Great post, i agree in everything. but the issue of solipsism is very elusive. if I'm in awakened state, it's obvious, but if I'm in a sleeping state, like now, it doesn't make sense. If you want to go deeper, you have to fully understand that your direct experience is absolute, therefore there is nothing outside of it, therefore, the others are imaginary. but it's really not exactly like that. how is? I don't know -
Breakingthewall replied to davecraw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, in that sense imaginary=real, but I would say that the other definition is more accurate. it is imaginary because it only exists while you are imagining it, when it appears in your experience. only has reality as experience -
Breakingthewall replied to davecraw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Imaginary means that it does not exist outside of your direct experience. that is to say, that only you, so your direct experience ,are real, and everything that is inside your direct experience is just imaginary -

I don't know if you have realized that all humans are involved in some kind of difficult game with different challenges that they have to overcome, or they get stuck. I don't understand the reason for this either, but I understand the consequence of not accepting the challenge and overcoming it: swimming in the shit in increasingly unpleasant ways, sinking more and more. you have to fight, until there is nothing left to fight for, if that time comes. Nobody is going to solve your enigma for you, you have to do it yourself. you do not like? bad luck, you have to do the same -

this is the duality of which I speak. the absolute does not interact with the dream, there are not two. the absolute is infinite flow. we say the mind as an analogy, but a mind is nothing. If you are aware of the infinite emptiness, it is because reality is manifesting as an infinite emptiness. There is no one imagining the void, there is only the void. Who realizes the emptiness? It's like saying, who notices that your head hurts? no one. There is a headache. You are a headache, no one who sees that their own headaches hurt. but let's see... I speak according to my baseline at this moment, maybe tomorrow I'll see that it's not exactly like that. Why not? You are the reality, there is nothing else, so it's sure that you can. Don't think in that people, they are just mental construction -

Good video. watching it made me feel the psychedelic and the openess. i know that feeling, when your heart opens and you realize that everything is inside, and there are no limits. Glory. Did you also realize the infinite amplitude of this moment and what existence is? This to me is challenging, like, I can't get out of existence, ever. I'm stuck here for eternity. If you focus on that, is the horror. you have to realize that you are not trapped in this moment, but you are this moment and it is infinite. so you get up and dance. This moment is a dance. -

if we were really awake all the time and not just half an hour a week on some drug, we would perceive the total meaninglessness of all this, and we would not care if we are poor, rich, die or alive, and we would love anyone the same than to us and we would also see the total meaninglessness of its existence. It is only the present where things appear, and that's it. but the game is designed by a little bastard who won't let that happen. as soon as you put your mental legs in the honey of deception, you will sink and you will only be awake "conceptually", like me now, so if i have to choose between you and me...well... -

@Moksha We can argue forever. You think that I have not realized the absolute because I am stuck in the dream, I think that you make an impossible division between creator and creation. If at any point I realize that you were right, I'll tell you. -
Breakingthewall replied to Phil King's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The illusion is that there is something outside of the present moment. Past and future are illusion because it seems that are outside, and there is not outside. The past is being created now, like everything else. The absolute is a flow. Is movement that never stops. Existence=movement. The only thing inmutable is the fact that everything is this moment, this direct experience, but this direct experience is in movement. There is not relative vs absolute, the relative moves and the absolute not. It's just the absolute. the only relative thing is the appearance of something external, of a time line. that is the deception. but also deceit is the absolute. absolute=now. Do you think that the present moment is inmutable? Never. -

Exactly Yes, perfect, but what about the movie that is happening? once you realize the deception of the mind and open yourself to the unfathomable of the present moment, you think: and the deception? so that? so perfect, complex, ingenious. It has a purpose, every micron of deceit has it and I want to understand it , always looking directly and avoiding conceptualizing, obviously, because if not it's another deception inside the deception Exactly, all conceptual thinking, including thinking about enlightenment, is a trap, the honey that catches the fly. once you get in, you can't get out, and with each attempt to get out you get deeper, it's a maze for rats, until you solve it and you say: and this joke? what's the point? -
Breakingthewall replied to Phil King's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
More than a mind what we are is the present moment, which is unlimited and and things arise in it, so it seems like a mind. you can recognize yourself as the infinite present in things or in immutability, since they are qualitatively the same: the infinite now. The thing is that the infinite immutable void is simple, obvious. It fills your heart, it's pure joy, whatever you want, I agree. but things get complicated when the infinite, that is, you, starts to create its structures. what are these structures? you can see it? do not intellectualize it or go to other sources, look at it directly. you cannot understand it, it is very difficult, a lot of distraction prevents it. but if you do psychedelics, the structures open up, they show what they are to a certain extent. understanding occurs (in some extent). if you want to understand someone, watch what they do. the same for god. This is impossible without psychedelics and here comes Leo with his alien mind. do you think he's crazy? It is not like this. But i agree with you, there is the absolute vs the relative only is you consider the relative the history of the mind, the meaning, the movie in which we live, and the absolute the present in the absence of it. that is, without the appearance of a character that evolves over time. That doesn't mean that it's empty, forms always arises , but they are the absolute -
Breakingthewall replied to Phil King's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The absolute reality is the present moment, there is nothing beyond. this is all that exists. I see the deception for what it is, but I don't want to remove myself from it. It's a game, and we have to play it. the absolute is this but removing the meaning. then its infinity manifests itself. The deception is that there is something out of your direct experience, all the histories. -
