what you say makes sense, the first time i had a full psychedelic trip, my realization was that i was existence and i was trapped in existing for all eternity. an absolutely negative feeling, of existential horror. but then I did more complete breakthroughs again and what happened is that I had to break that last barrier, in which I was really still myself, and that the absolute total infinity was. This is the exact opposite of existential horror, it's total freedom, absolute power and something so positive it's infinitely positive, so if I were you I'd keep pushing -

That's right, and if you look at life you will see that it is completely ruthless and cruel, so why would it be different in humans? yin and yang, life has a glorious face and a horrible face. the joy of existence, the fullness of love, and an 8-year-old boy forced to torture his mother with a knife to death. birth, joy, love, fullness on the one hand. pain, agony, suffering, torture, corruption and death for another. you cannot understand one without the other. -

I have many genuine questions, but the only one who can answer them is myself, so I do not come here to ask anyone anything, because no matter how much wisdom they have, what they tell me will not answer anything. What I come to is to do a joint exercise of self-inquiry and understanding of reality. for me quite useful by the way -

my experience in psychedelic trips is that reality is, let's say, fragmented. the real point of view is infinite, it includes infinite points of view within which there are infinite points of view, etc. that's me, but by some kind of trick I wear the blinders of a donkey and that makes my perception limited to what appears to be now. if I take a psychedelic, the trick wears off and I perceive infinity. The hard thing to understand is, where is infinity now if I don't perceive it? It's right here, but my state of consciousness deceives me and makes me see what I see. So, what are the others? I am right now making a performance. Like a dance with myself. They are exactly as conciouss as me. -

it is your subconscious rising to the surface. It is hidden for a reason, since at the time you could not handle it, and to hide it has created energy blockages. letting go of all that is the first part of the spiritual work. There comes a point where you do psychedelics and there's none of that. you begin to notice the effect and suddenly... infinity. you do not go through the trauma phase since it is integrated into the conscious and the mistic happens directly. This does not mean that the trauma is not traumatic, only that it is integrated into the conscious. You will receive waves of sadness in this process, but it is either that or the blockage -

Exactly, total happiness, total freedom. the meaning of the expression: hallelujah -

Very good explanation. The difficult part is the final part, this: Difficult or impossible to understand but it's the best explanation that i read. You could realize it, but you can't understand it, or at least i cant -

everything is the absolute truth since nothing else exists, but you can carry out a constant fragmenting activity that makes it seem to you that reality is something that it is not, although it continues to be what it is. So, the more in that direction your constant mental processing is, the more distortion will be generated, the more confusion and suffering, which are also the absolute truth, but we want to avoid them because they lead to an experience of madness and existential horror called hell. -

the only really valid requirement would be what is occurring in your direct experience now. the second, what has happened in the past, the third, the deductions based on this, but knowing that all this is just ideas, although useful to mentally process in a cleaner way, since it is inevitable to mentally process. -

direct experience goes beyond that. It's not like: I have the experience of riding a bicycle, so I know how to do it. On the other hand, I have taken a theoretical course on flying helicopters and it is different. no, the theoretical course is also direct experience. Mental marturbation is a direct experience of mental masturbation. its content is irrelevant. there is no direct experience vs. reason, there is direct experience and nothing else, and everything, absolutely, is within your direct experience. "outside" does not even exist as an idea, it is non-existence, which does not exist. direct experience is this, the now, and it is reality aka god. is the absolute total infinite. This is awakening, to realize the now, the direct experience without outside, of unfathomable depth. Every time you think in terms of "outside" you are fragmenting yourself, getting into the dream, into deception. you can say: yes, well, that's very good, but the others really have a conscience. ok, you have to realize that your direct experience is thinking about others and what they are have conscience. they are just something within your direct experience, a concept. Is the concept right or wrong? it is indifferent about the reality that it is a concept within your direct experience, and nothing more than that. Different quality. Reality and idea inside the reality -

He just kicked you out as a moderator, but you look better in street clothes than in uniform. @RebornConsciousness Sorry if I was stupid before, but what I wanted to say is that the nuances that are discussed are difficult to capture. For me, Leo is correct, and I am grateful that there is someone who is. this matter is extremely subtle, if you want to understand it, you have to have a very open mind. The people he kicked out were really just repeating the same thing over and over again and their comments were destructive and almost never constructive. -

It could be said that there is only one certainty: existence exists, and I am. the rest is speculation. You can't know if your car will be in the garage or if the universe will collapse into a black hole in 5 minutes. but you can look within yourself and see that all these are ideas that are within you, that you are the existence that exists and that you are unfathomable -
Breakingthewall replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is quite simple since there is a qualitative difference: pure reason is within your direct experience, therefore reason cannot encompass or define direct experience, it can try making a small sketch that does not mean anything. direct experience is the highest, nothing is above because nothing else exists. therefore your direct experience is the absolute truth -

conceptually it is obvious that your pov is not the only one that exists since existence is eternal. If my pov were the only thing, eternity would be a guy with the phone on a terrace with a cafe. in eternity infinite povs have happened. where are they? they are here, now, since infinity is the case. but on the other hand, the absolute reality is me now and everything else is just ideas. that others exist is one idea, that others do not exist is another idea. the unfathomable infinite reality is this current moment and nothing else exists, neither existed nor will exist. that is the absolute truth and anything else is missing the point and fragmenting your mind. we can do it as an exercise in speculation, but it has no value. The truth is this, now. -
Breakingthewall replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The thing is that I will never in the eternity of existence leave my point of view, so my pov is the absolute. Inside my pov are the others. do they have the other povs? if they have it, it has to be my pov. How? I don't know, it's irrelevant. The reality is that I am reality and outside of me there is nothing. maybe the others are me in the future, or in the past, or just images. all these are just thoughts. the others are real when I imagine them and disappear when I stop imagining them. think: yes, but they exist when I don't think about them, it's just a thought. It is necessary to differentiate between real and concept. the others are concept, the reality is me. We could focus in the real and go deep or in the concept and walk around. Is the concept false? No, it's just a concept. Are the others real? Conceptually, I'd say yes, but it's jus a concept, it worth nothing in the realizing of the absolute truth. -

That is so because your understanding is that of a monkey trying to understand a computer. the normal thing is that you start hitting it while you scream -

Yeah, I'd say its correct. The world illusion is to point to something that is deceptive, different from what it seems. you cannot say that a stone is illusion because it really is a mental creation. it is still a stone. but the fact that it seems something foreign to you is an illusion -

Of course, life is full of wonders, music, landscapes, magic, power, beauty. That's the first symptom that you are getting deep, but there is more. the ecstasy of existence is normal when you get out of the ego. this is the sober state. once you're here is when the psychedelic game gets interesting. -
Breakingthewall replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes but the illusion is inside you. In the moment that you think "outside" you are lost, fragmented. -
Breakingthewall replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
To think that something exists outside of you is to enter into the illusion of the multiple. there is nothing outside of you if you want to understand what you are. "outside" is something impossible, meaningless. you are the absolute, if you are listening to a song, you have made up that song right now. if you see a landscape, you are creating it now. you are not an ego that relates to other egos. you are the absolute total existence. outside of you there is no existence. inside there is infinity. that is the truth and from there you can begin to understand. -

Interesting differentiation. I would say that animals will never be able to transcend cognition, since basically that is what they are and without that they would cease to be. On the other hand, humans live in metacognition, and also cognition is largely derived from social relations. This leads to a state of alienation, to live in stories of the mind. This is very unpleasant and the person wants to let it go, but once you settle there it is extremely difficult. if achieved, the person may come to realize that while metacognition is illusory, so is cognition. it's all in his mind. then he changes perspective and realizes that he is the totality of history, there is nothing outside of him, it does not exist outside. he is the reality. After that, it's another step. What is the reality? Why the reality is flowing it the way that it does? What am I? -

Yes sure, but just the light is not enough for me ? i want the whole thing. I want to totally understand the existence. The absolute omniscience. The total opening. Happiness is good, but exploration is better! We are men, no kids, let's go to the bottom of the thing -

Yes a lot. And about the normal life. but I always have a fighting approach and it sounds very negative. I guess life has steered me in that direction -
Breakingthewall replied to Holykael's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@michaelcycle00 It is not a matter of playing mind games or fooling yourself with nonsense about love. Anything you tell yourself is nothing more than a placebo. the game is much more difficult and much more challenging than all that. you have to truly transcend the human and all its human things. this is extremely difficult, it is not a easy game and no one can do it for you. your suffering is what gives you the measure of where you have to go, where to deepen, where to understand. You have to be a genius or you lose the game. most people don't even start it so if you've started it better get to the end. For me its meditation 1 hour eery day, zero alcohol, zero toxic relationships, zero entertainment, zero meaningless activities, body in perfect condition, psychedelics every week, constant intention to understand and deepen, cross the surface, understand, undo the enigma. I find it a very interesting challenge and i ve nothing better to do.
